Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati - Shillong (122 Kms /03 hrs drive)

  Upon arrival at Guwahati Railway station / Airport, you will be received by office executive and drive down to Shillong in an executive vehicle. During the course of journey, visit Kamakhya Temple & Umium Lake. We drive straight to Nilachal Hills (225 m ht) where the Kamakhya group of temples is located. The inscription written on rock found to be 5th century AD when these temples were constructed. After three hours of leisurely drive brings you to this beautiful hill station. Enjoy overnight stay at Shillong.

• Day 2 : City Tour of Shillong

  On the next day i.e. the 2nd day, once you are over with the breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is 65 kilometres from Shillong and just takes 2 hours from Shillong. Cherrapunji, the world’s wettest place has the most beautiful waterfall named Noh-ka-likai. Over there, you can see the sights of some caves which are in and around the city. After that, you will return back to Shillong, while traveling take a stopover at Elephanta falls as well as Shillong peak to get the feel of some breathtaking scenic views. There will be an overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.

• Day 3 : Sight Scenes of Shillong and then transfer to Guwahati

  After taking your breakfast, go for sightseeing at Shillong. The visit to Hydri Park and Ward Lake will definitely keep you enthralled with its admiring beauty. Have a high regard for the exquisiteness and loveliness of Shillong city as it is also known as Scotland of the Eastern region. By afternoon, back to Guwahati city and then check in at the prescribed hotel. Evening is free for you to go for local sightseeing. There is an overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
• Day 4 : City Tour of Guwahati

  After an early morning breakfast, visit to Kamakhya Temple and the most important Hindu Pilgrimage place is included. Then return back to your hotel room after paying respect to Goddess Kamakhya. Then in the evening visit the Sage Vashista Ashram, Sankardev Kalakshetra and Balaji Temple. There is an overnight stay in Guwahati city.
• Day 5 : Travel to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station

  Your heart will never allow you to leave this place but your destination awaits you. Today you will depart from Guwahati with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spent here and drive back to Guwahati Railway Station/Guwahati Airport for further journey.
