This tour brings you to visit two typical Royal tombs of Hue dynasty Tu Duc and Khai Dinh to learn more about the interesting history of Hue imperial Citadel as well as to understand more about the contrast architecture features of both these relics. More interesting way to discover 2 tombs is to make a cycling trip. Spending half day on bike by yourself, you will embark to the rural to admire and enjoy interesting scenes and local life.

FULL ITINERARY

Morning, have breakfast at hotel then my guide will pick up you at the lobby then we will proceed to ride by a bike to Khai Dinh tomb, on the way from Hue city to Khai Dinh Tomb you will stop to take photos some countryside sceneries and when you reach Khai Dinh Tomb, climbing 29 further steps, one is reaching the imperial audience court, in the centre of which stands the octagonal stele monument also made of reinforced concrete. On both sides of the courtyard, two rows of statues are facing towards the court center. In addition to these statues, similar to those of the other tombs, there are six more couples representing bodyguard soldiers. These statues are made of stone, a material very rare in Khai Dinh tomb. The courtyard is flanked on both sides by two high and imposing pillars. After visiting Khai Dinh tomb, we continue to ride Tu Duc tomb, road is rough, but surely it will bring you funny experiences and mix with local life and nature. After 15 minutes biking you will see explore Tu Duc Tomb with guide instruction.
