Package Overview

Hampta Pass trek is one of the most beautiful trek in Himachal Pradesh, This is high altitude trek, which can be done by novice and experienced trekkers who got basic fitness. This trek starts from Prini village, where trekker can reach in couple of hours by car. This trek passes through dense alpine forests and flower sprinkled meadows. We also pass through Pandu Ropa and Saythen villages. During the walk trekkers enjoy the Beas valley and Kullu town. As we climb higher there are patches of snow and greater views of Himalaya. We cross the the Hampta pass and get down to Chatru, which is a tiny settlement next to Chandra River. We drive back to Manali.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali

  Drive to Prini and then from Prini we reach Pando Ropa, 4 hours trek which goes steeply along side of Hamta Nala through forest. Overnight in tents.

• Day 2 : Pandu Ropa

  We will walk gradually through forest and meadow up to Chikka camp, and ideal site with water and firewood. Overnight in tents.

• Day 3 : Chikka

  Breakfast and walk uphill to Juara and then gradual climb up to the camp site at Balu Ka Gera. Overnight in tents.

• Day 4 : Balu Ka Gera

  Climb steep uphill to Hampta Pass for 3 kms and then descent on the other side in steep slope up to Camp Site. Mt. Deo Tibba and Indrasan are visible along with a wide view of the Lahaul Valley.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 5 : Chatru

  Descend down to Chatru Camp site. Overnight in camp.

• Day 6 : Manali

  Drive to Manali, 5 hrs via Rohtang pass.

  • Hotspots : Rohtang Pass
