Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : YANGON

On arrival transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 : YANGON

Begin your day exploraing Burma's most revered temple, Shwedagon Pagoda. Continue to Kandawgyi Park with its vast lake, and then continue on to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda. Afterwards, explore downtown Yangon on foot. After the sun sets, jump on a trishaw for a foodie tour around the city.
Day 3 : YANGON - MANDALAY

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mandalay. On arrival, walk up to the top of Mandalay Hill. Continue to Palace Monastery and then Kyauktawgyi Pagoda to view the huge marble buddha. Finally visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’. After lunch cruise up upriver to Mingun, where you can explore pagodas and meet local craftsmen. Return by boat to Mandalay.
Day 4 : MANDALAY

Explore the former capitals of Ava, Sagaing and Amarapura. Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious centre of Burma. Ava is a short ferry ride across the river, with its small villages and scattered ruins. In Amapura visit a silk weaving workshop and the 200-year-old U Bein Bridge.
Day 5 : MANDALAY - BAGAN

Head to the airport for your flight to Bagan. Explore a series of important temples in and around Bagan by e-bike. Experience a local style curry lunch and then continue by car to the main temples and experience sunset over the site.
Day 6 : BAGAN

See Burmese local life on a trip to the extinct volcano and pilgrimage site of Mt Popa. Climb the stairs to the top of the shrine. On the return to Bagan, stop at Shwe Hlaing village, famous for its toddy palm treets, where a local lunch is served.
Day 7 : BAGAN

Enjoy the day at leisure in Bagan.
Day 8 : BAGAN - HEHO - INLE LAKE

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Heho. From Heho, a scenic one hour drive leads to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake. En route, stop at the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which features beautiful carvings and a collection of Buddha images. Upon reaching the edges of Inle Lake, board a private motorboat to head out on to Inle Lake, one of Burma’s most spectacular sights. Pass villages built on stilts over the lake, inhabited by the local Intha people. Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf. Explore the local crafts at village stops.
Day 9 : INLE LAKE

Journey by boat to the sleepy village of Sagar where you will visit the iconic 'sunken' stupas. Continue to the village of Thaya Gone, famous for its homemade rice wine, and visit a nearby pottery village. Return to Inle after lunch.
Day 10 : INLE LAKE - HEHO - YANGON

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Yangon where your journey ends.
