Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Departure to Haridwar

  Departure to Haridwar (205 kms. / 7 hrs.). Arrive at Haridwar. Have a dip in the Holy River Ganges at “Har-ki-Pauri” and visit Mansa Devi temple by Rope Way. Evening visit Ganga Aarti.
• Day 2 : proceed to Rishikesh

  After breakfast,proceed to Rishikesh (24 kms.). Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Lakshman Jhoola. After lunch drive to Srinagar (105 kms. / 4 hrs.).Check into hotel.
• Day 3 : depart from Srinagar

  After Breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dharee Devi Temple - Kaliya Saur (15 Kms). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (35 Kms), view the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers - Alaknanda and Mandakini. Drive to Okhimat (42 Kms ), visit Shri Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the Pooja is performed for 6 months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed). Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 Kms), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 Kms), check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.
• Day 4 : Depart to Gaurikund

  Depart to Gaurikund 12 Kms. And then proceed to Kedarnath (19 Kms.) by pony. After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji return to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by Coach (12 Kms.) Overnight stay. NOTE: Incase you are travelling by Helicopter/Walk/Pony/Doli, the return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur. Those who are travelling by Pony/Doli (19 Kms. approx. each way), have to start the trek early in the morning of Day 4, so that you can come back on the same day. For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting Kedarnath, the alternative programme for Day 4 would be as follows: After breakfast, proceed to Triyuginarayan Temple (19 Kms - one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parvathi got married. Tourists will have to go there by local jeep. Later driver to Gaurikund to visit Gauri Mata Temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the way you may visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple 3+3 kms. By trek). Tourist will have to trek for 500 mts. (One side) Which is a narrow route. Later return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at Rampur (half a kilometer by trek). Overnight Stay. The buses cannot ply /move in the places mentioned in the alternate tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps /cars available locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs.250/- to 500/- per head extra.
• Day 5 : Departure to Badrinath

  Departure to Badrinath (238 kms. / 12 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into your hotel.
• Day 6 : Shri Badrinath

  Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji, Time is given for performing the rituals (Pind Dan at Brahma Kapal) near the temple later visit Mana Village, the last Village before the Tibetan border. After Lunch drive to Pipalkoti (79 kms. / 4 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into hotel.
• Day 7 : departure to Delhi

  Morning departure to Delhi (460 Kms./ 16 hrs.), enroute stop in Devprayag to witness the confluence point of River Alaknanda and Bhagirathi to form Holy River Ganges .Arrive Delhi in the late night.
