During the Day, Acclimatize Yourself with the Weather and High Pressure of Ladakh. Overnight Stay At Hotel in Leh.

  • Day 2 : LEH- NUBRA VIA KHARDUNG LA TOP (116KMS/ 03 HRS APPROX) (24 JUNE)

    Leh – Khardungla Top – Nubra
    today After Breakfast Drive to Nubra Valley. the Road Journey from Leh to Nubra Valley Passes Over Khardung La (the Highest Motorable Road in the World) At 5,602 M / 18,390 Ft, Around 39 Km from Leh. Nubra Valley is Popularly Known as Ldumra or the Valley of Flowers. It is Situated in the North of Ladakh Between the Karakoram and Ladakh Ranges of the Himalayas. the Average Altitude of the Valley is 10,000 Ft. Above Sea Level. Upon Arrival in Nubra Check Into Camp. in the Evening, Walk Around the Tiny Villages to See How the Locals Live in this Part of the World. Overnight Stay At the Camp in Nubra.

  • Day 3 : NUBRA- LEH VIA DISKIT EXCURSION (116KMS/ 03 HRS APPROX ) (25 JUNE)

    Nubra – Diskit – Leh
    today After Breakfast Drive to Diskit. Diskit is Famous for 515 Years Old Buddhist Monastery, Lying Magnificently Situated On a Hilltop, Facing the Entire Valley. Later Drive Back to Leh in the Late Afternoon Via Khardungla Top. On Arrival At Leh Check in Hotel. in the Afternoon You Can Rest and Relax. in the Evening You Can Stroll Around the Market Place for Some Last Minute Souvenir Shopping. Overnight Stay At the Hotel in Leh.

  • Day 4 : ATTEND HEMIS FESTIVAL (26 JUNE)

    Hemis Festival
    today After Breakfast We Witness the Celebrations of the Hemis Festival, Which Commemorates the Birth of Guru Padamasambhava, Who is Said to have Brought Vajrayana Buddhism to Bhutan and Tibet. Revered Throughout the Himalayan Ranges and Considered the Second Buddha, Guru Padmasambhava Was Invited from India in the 8th Century to Conquer the Dark Forces and Transform Them Into Guardians and Protectors of the Pure Dharma. this Morning We Make Our Way to the Hemis Monastery, the Largest and Richest Monastery in all of Ladakh. At 9 am the Birthday Celebrations of Guru Padamasambhava Begin in the Courtyard, Filled with Local Ladakhis and Buddhist Pilgrims. a Raised Platform with a Richly Cushioned Seat and a Finely Painted Small Tibetan Table is Placed with the Ceremonial Items – Cups Full of Holy Water, Uncooked Rice, Tormas Made of Dough and Butter and Incense Sticks. a Number of Musicians Play the Traditional Music with Four Pairs of Cymbals, Large-pan Drums, Small Trumpets and Large Size Wind Instruments. Next to Them a Small Space is Assigned for the Lamas to Sit. Overnight Stay At the Hotel in Leh.

  • Day 5 : ATTEND HEMIS FESTIVAL (27 JUNE)

    Hemis Festival
    today After Breakfast Attend Hemis Festival. the Festival Highlight is the Gathering of the Lamas Around the Central Flagpole Performing the Mystic Mask Dances (chams) and Sacred Plays. Chams are Essentially a Part of Tantric Tradition, Performed Only in the Gompas that Follow the Tantric Vajrayana Teachings and Where the Monks Perform Tantric Worship. Dressed in Colourful Bright Brocades with Vibrantly Decorated and Richly Adorned Paper-mache Masks (some Extending Over 1 Metre in Height) the Masked Dancers Simulate Combat Between Good Spirits and Evil Demons to the Cacophony of Drums, Cymbals and Long Horns. the Crowd Unites in Uproarious Song and Dance When the Dough Idol of Evil is Destroyed By the Leader of Black Hat Dancers Signifying that Good Has Prevailed.
    this Afternoon Enjoy a Guided Sightseeing Tour of the Town, Whose Skyline is Dominated By Royal Palace. Above the Royal Palace, On Namgyal Tsemo (victory Peak), are the Ruins of Leh’s Earliest Royal Residence, a Fortress Type Structure Built By King Tashi Namgyal in the 16th Century. There Will also Be a Stop At Sankar Gompa to View the Image of Avalokitesvara, Inset with Turquoise and Shown with a Thousand Heads, Arms and Feet and One Hundred Thousand Eyes. Next Up is Shanti Stupa, Which Was Built to Commemorate 2500 Years of Buddhism and Inaugurated By His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 1985 and Stok Palace – a Museum Where the Sengge Namgyal Family Heirlooms and Relics Can Be Seen On Display. Overnight Stay At the Hotel in Leh.

  • Day 6 : LEH – PANGONG – LEH (225 KMS/ 5 HRS APPROX) (28 JUNE)

    PANGONG LAKE
    Today after early morning breakfast drive to Pangong lake after crossing the third highest motorable pass the Changla Pass (17800 ft) . Arrive at Pangong lake 14270 ft, Highest Salt water lake. It’s an unimaginable 135 kms long with almost 70% of the lake in China. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,270 feet, is bisected by the international border between India and China.   • Day 7 : LEH (DEPARTURE) (29 JUNE)
