Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Srinagar

  Welcome to Kashmir. Arrive in Srinagar & transfer to your Houseboat. Afternoon is free for leisure activities. Later in the evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake & enjoy the sunset. Overnight at Houseboat in Srinagar.

• Day 2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg (Approx. 2 Hours’ Drive)

  Today after breakfast I drove to Gulmarg-the Meadow of Flowers, which is situated at an altitude of 2730 m above the sea level. The distance between Pahalgam to Gulmarg is approximately 52 km and it takes 02 hours’ drive from Srinagar to reach Gulmarg. Gulmarg is one of India's premier hill resorts. Upon arrival check in at Hotel. Gulmarg is a place of exceptional beauty and has the world's highest green golf course and also turns into India's premier ski resort in winter. Gulmarg offers breathtaking views of majestic Nanga Parbat on a clear day. Gondola ride 1st phase in Gulmarg. Overnight stay in Gulmarg.

• Day 3 : Gulmarg – Sonamarg (Approx. 4hrs)

  After breakfast check out and proceed to Sonamarg. Sonamarg lies at the head of the Sindh valley. It is surrounded by mountains and pine forests. There are attractive walks and an option of a pony ride to the Thajiwas Glacier. Thajiwas is known for its glaciers. The miniature plateaus, snowfields, pines and islets adds to the charm of Thajiwas. Full Day enjoy in Sonamarg. Sonamarg is the main base for the treks that passes along several mountain lakes like the Vishansar, Kishansar, Gadsar, Satsar and Gangabal. Sonamarg is also the major point for the drive to Ladakh across the Zoji La pass. Sonamarg is also a base for undertaking the yatra to the holy Amarnath cave. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer month .overnight stay in Sonamarg

• Day 4 : Sonamarg – Pahalgam

  After breakfast in the hotel get transferred to Pahalgam. Pahalgam is called as “Valley of Shepherds. On arrival check in to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

• Day 5 : Pahalgam - Aru, Chandanwari and betab valley (Approx. 2-3 hrs)

  This morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Pahalgam by union local vehicle .visit Chandanwari at 2,895 m and 16 km (10 miles) from Pahalgam. 11 km from Chandanwari is the mountain lake of Sheshnag, after which, 13 km away is the last stop, Panchtarni. A narrow spiralling path from Panchtarni leads to the Amarnath Cave. ARU A small village, 11 kms upstream the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque with ample campsites. The river Lidder disappears at Gur Khumb and reappears after 27 mts. One can enjoy horse ride or visit betab valley. Betaab Valley, situated just 7 km up on Pahalgam, has got its name from Sunny Deol’s movie, Betaab, which was shot extensively in this area. Surrounded by snow-covered mountain peaks and dense pine and deodar forests, this valley is the mouth of River Sheshnag. Overnight stay in Pahalgam.

• Day 6 : Pahalgam – Srinagar – Local Sightseeing

  Today after breakfast proceed to Srinagar, check in to the hotel. Later visit famous Mughal Gardens Mughal Gardens Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh was built by Asif Khan, brother of Empress Noorjehan in 1632 AD. Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) was built by Jehangir for his wife Noor Jehan. Situated on the bank of Dal Lake, these gardens are overlooked by picturesque Zabarwan mountains, later return back to the hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.

  After breakfast it’s time to check out. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or back home.
