Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro - Thimphu (55Kms, 1 ½Hrs)

  Arrive Paro & transfer to the Thimphu. Just before arriving Thimphu, visit Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 2 : Thimphu

  After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of National Library (Closed on weekends), Zorig Chusum (painting school – closed on weekends), Textile (Closed on Sunday), Folk Heritage Museum (halfday on weekend), Changangkha Lhakhang (fortress like temple and monastic school), Takin Preserve and the Zulekha Nunnery. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Thimphu - Gangtety (150Kms, 5Hrs)

  After early breakfast, proceed to Gangtety via Dochu-la pass & Wangduephodrang visiting local market (famous for bamboo products, slate and stone carvings). Afternoon visit to Gangtey Goemba (monastery). Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : Gangtey – Phobjikha - Punakha (75Kms, 3Hrs)

  After breakfast drive to the beautiful Phobjikha valley. Later proceed to Punakha. On arrival check in & Overnight at the hotel.

  In the Morning after breakfast take a short excursion to Chimi Lhakhang. Afternoon visit to the Punakha Dzong. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Punakha - Paro (125Kms, 4 ½Hrs

  Morning after breakfast drive to Paro. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong (National Museum). Rinpung Dzong, Sumeru and other cosmic Mandala. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Paro

  After breakfast visit to the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Afternoon drive to Drukgyel Dzong, Enroute visit the 7th century Kyichu Lhakhang. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Paro – HAA Valley – Paro

  Start the day early for drive to Haa via Chele-la pass. Later visit to the famous Monastery Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple) followed by visit to Lhakhang Nagpo (Black Temple). Later in the afternoon drive to Paro same way back. Overnight at the Hotel.

  After breakfast in the morning drive to the Airport for your onward journey.
