Day 1 : Edinburgh
On arrival, in Edinburgh, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Dominated by a medieval castle on a towering crag, Edinburgh is the celebrated capital of Scotland and boasts more than a thousand years of vibrant historical heritage. Overnight in Edinburgh.
Day 2 : Edinburgh
Today, board an Open Top Bus for a tour of the city highlights including the old town, the Scott Monument, Holyrood Palace, Parliament Building, Greyfriars Bobby and the renowned Edinburgh Castle. Later, you may opt to unravel the mystery of whisky making on ‘The Scotch Whisky Experience’ tour. Day 3 : Edinburgh - Inverness (3.5 hrs)
This morning, proceed to Inverness, renowned for its natural scenic beauty and awe inspiring monuments. Inverness is a city in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. It is the most northern city in the British Isles. The city attracts considerable numbers of tourists drawn to the legend of the Loch Ness Monster, which according to mythology is purported to inhabit the Loch Ness that runs to the south of Inverness. Day 4 : Inverness - Glasgow (3.5 hrs)
An exciting day awaits you as you enjoy the ultimate, magical, Loch Ness experience! Highlights include a cruise on Loch Ness to experience the magnificence of the loch and its stunning attractions, such as the ancient ruins of Urquhart Castle. Later, travel to Glasgow, one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. Glasgow offers a blend of internationally-acclaimed museums and galleries, stunning architecture, vibrant nightlife, fantastic shopping and a diverse array of restaurants and bars. Day 5 : Glasgow
Enjoy the sights of Glasgow on an Open Bus tour and explore the rich cultural heritage of the city. See all the main sights as you hop on and hop off 21 conveniently located stops around the city. Overnight in Glasgow.
Day 6 : Glasgow - Windermere (2.5 hrs)
Today take a train to the one of the most scenic places in Great Britain, the Lake District. Windermere is the largest natural lake in England. It is a ribbon lake formed in a glacial trough after the retreat of ice at the start of the current interglacial. It has been one of the country’s most popular places for holidays and summer homes since the arrival of the Kendal and Windermere Railway’s branch line in 1847. The town is small enough to walk around easily. It is an area of natural beauty, well known for its Lakes, Waters and Tarns. The Lake District is also known as Lakeland or The Lakes. It has some splendid archeological sites including Stone Circles and many visitor attractions. Upon arrival in Windermere, make your own way to the hotel. Later, walk around and explore the beauty of the area on your own. Overnight in Windermere.
Day 7 : Windermere - London (3.5 hrs)
The day is free. Later in the afternoon, proceed to London. Upon arrival, make your own way to the hotel. Overnight in London.
Day 8 : London
Discover London on an Open Bus sightseeing tour along with a cruise on the River Thames. Later visit the famous wax museum, Madame Tussaud’s. It is one of London’s hottest attractions. Its both visually immersive and interactive and should be top of your list when visiting London. As you wander around Madame Tussauds you will stumble across an endless number of famous faces including David Beckham, Kylie Minogue, President Bush, Tony Blair and many more. You can also interact with the model celebrities. You can be there when David Beckham prepares to take one of his famous free kicks and feel the beat of his heart and tremble as the floor vibrates beneath your feet!! Then you can go through to the London Stardome and explore this interactive show dome. Later, visit one of the world’s largest observatory wheel ‘The London Eye’. Overnight in London.
Day 9 : London
The day is free to explore London on your own or take an optional full day tour to England’s three most popular attractions - Oxford, Stratford and Warwick Castle. Your full day tour will take you over the Chiltern Hills to Oxford. You will be given a walking tour of Oxford past some of its famous universities whilst hearing the academic stories of some famous past students. You will visit the Great Hall at Christ Church College where Harry Potter scenes were filmed. Then onto Stratford Upon Avon, where you will visit Shakespeare’s birthplace. Then move onto Warwick Castle, renowned as the finest medieval castle in England. You will be able to visit the Waxwork exhibition, the state partments, dungeons, and the rampant walk with its magnificent views over the river and surrounding countryside. After exploring Warwick Castle we will head back to London driving through one of the most scenic areas of England- the Cotswolds. Overnight in London.
Day 10 : Depart London
Today you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home.
