Day 1 : Arrival in Munich, transfer to Hotel
Afternoon sightseeing in Munich, visit of the city centre, pedestrian zone with Marienplatz or take the metro and visit BMW Museum and BMW World. BMW is something to be seen, heard, smelled, tasted and touched. That’s the idea behind the BMW Welt, a place you won’t easily forget. This is a place that grabs you with all of your senses, a place with futuristic architecture that still blends right in between the BMW headquarters, BMW plant, BMW Museum and the Olympic Park. Day 2 : Munich
Full day SIC excursion to castle Neuschwanstein, daily departures April 01- Oct 31, daily except Monday Nov 01 –Mar 31. Tour starts at 08:30, ends at 19:00, Tour price: 49 EUR p.p, + 17 EUR entrance fee. Departure and arrival: Bahnhofsvorplatz in front of department store “Karstadt”. This trip shows you two extraordinary castles, both testifying to the vision of Bavaria’s fairytale King. Short shopping stop in Oberammergau. Day 3 : Munich
Take the train to Garmisch-Partenkirchen (1 h; 25 min), and right from there take the cogwheel car to Zugspitze, the highest mountain in beautiful German Alps (3000 m) with its beautiful glacier and panoramic view of the Alps, seeing Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Germany. Enjoy an Indian lunch in the restaurant on top of the mountain before you depart by cable car down to Eibsee and from there take the cogwheel back to Garmisch. Spend some time in this picturesque Mountain resort town before taking an evening train back to Munich. Suggestions of travel time: Cogwheel car to Zugspitze runs every dep. Afternoon sightseeing, visit the stunning museum of Mercedes-Benz: The biggest automotive museum in the world reflects all the eras and milestones of the brand and the history of the company, from the beginnings of the individual mobility through the history of the vehicles produced, right up to the future of the automobile (open Tue-Sun, 09-18 h, admission 8,00 EUR) Enjoy the evening on the banks of the river Neckar with a glass of wine from the local vineyards, by which Stuttgart is surrounded. Day 5 : Frankfurt
In for another great car experience? Head for the brand new Porsche Museum. The new museum with sophisticated architecture opened January 2009, presents the outstanding history and traditions of this sports car producer. (open Tue-Sun, 09-18 h, admission 8,00 EUR) Or spend some time for shopping in the exquisite pedestrian zone of Stuttgart, the “Koenigstrasse” (Kings’ Road), one of the longest shopping streets in Europe, Leading directly to the centrally located palace. Or take your loved ones to WILHEMA, Germany’s only zoological and botanical garden, set in a historical park. One of the loveliest in Europe. Over 9,000 animals and around 1,000 species, outstanding landscaping and exhibition greenhouses, aquarium with a crocodile house and famous coral fish collection, farmyard with children’s zoo.
