Day 1 : Welcome to Hanoi
Arrival in Hanoi, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities. Upon arrival, you will be met by our driver for the transfer to the hotel (Check in around 02.00pm, early check in is subject to availability. Rest of the day is free at your leisure

Day 2 : Hanoi City tour
At 09:00AM, our waiting guide and driver will welcome you at your hotel and transfer us to Temple of Literature. Following is a visit to The Presidential Palace (formerly Palace of the Governor-General of French Indochina), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilt and nearby One Pillar Pagoda. Then followed by Van Mieu literally translated “Temple of Literature” which is wel-known in Vietnam for a combination of Confucian sanctuary and academy, the centre also housed the country’s first university, founded in 1076. We have time to wander through the stone tablets and soak up a thousand years of learning with our local guide. Lunch break in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we visit Vietnam History museum or others upon your choice.We then leisurly walk to nearby Hanoi Opera House for photos of the most beautiful French architectural buildings left in Hanoi.
Next is Old Quarter Walking tour. Stop over at a local coffee shop to observe how the local people enjoy life while sipping every drop of Vietnam bitter sweet coffee at Café Giang- the oldest brand in Hanoi, since 1946 (optional). Followed by, we travel by rickshaw cyclo (traditional bike-propelled cart) and foot along tree-lined boulevards and through the 1000-year-old Old Quarter, exploring the markets and taking in some of the city’s great colonial architecture.
We finish day by attending a thousand year old Water puppet Show.
Notes:
Ho Chi Minh Museum and Mausoleum closes on Mondays and Fridays and closes yearly Sep/Oct/Nov for maintenance (specific dates to be advised) & all afternoon. Other museums close on Mondays.

Day 3 : Hanoi - Halong Bay
Have breakfast in hotel and drive to Halong Bay (180km about 3.5 hours) passing the countryside of the Red River Delta to the UNESCO World Heritage site.
A traditional style Vietnamese Junk Cruise is awaiting your arrival and will set sail at noon today for the 23 hours cruise on this magnificent bay. Lunch will be served on board amidst spectacular views of the bay. Afternoon will visit one of the largest caves in Halong Bay and a beach stop where you can swim in the refreshing waters of the South China Sea.
Tonight enjoy a fresh seafood dinner onboard your Junk.

Day 4 : Ha Long - Danang - Hoian
Participate in Tai Chi on the top deck or simply watch the sunrise over the magnificent bay. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee or juice before setting out to the nearby cave on a row boat. Watch for monkeys high on the cliff tops. Return back to the Junk where breakfast is served, while sailing around Bay Tu Long bay where the movie “Indochine” was filmed.
Your cruise will end at noon and you will meet your guide & driver for the trip back to Hanoi and then transfer the Noi Bai airport for your flight to Hue where your driver will await you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.
Note: The different of Amo Vietnam Travel’ tour is the maximum flexibility. You could have a choice to go back to Hanoi for further Shopping or visit one place: But Thap Pagoda or Tho Ha Village or Phu Lang Pottery Village before the transfer to Noi Bai Airport.

Day 5 : Hoian Ancient town - Hue
In the morning, we take a walking tour through the narrow streets, visiting a number of attractions in town: the PhucKien Assembly Hall, the Chua Ong Pagoda, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the hundred-year old merchant house … and colorful local markets. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it.
Time break for lunch then drive to Hue, make a stop at the Marble Mountains for a photo stop, continue to China Beach, immortalized for many by the US television show and still one of the most spectacular beaches in Asia in Da Nang and visit Cham Museum. The museum houses the largest and most impressive collection of Cham sculpture and artifacts anywhere in the world, dating from the 4th to the 14th centuries.
Continue driving uphill on Hai Van (Cloudy Pass) to take angle view of Danang and Lang Co Fishing Village, then Madarin Road to Hue.

Day 6 : Hue City Tour - Fly to Saigon
The Hue Citadel is situated on the Northern bank of the Perfume River. It covers an area 500 ha and has a system of three circles of ramparts: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel). The Hue royal complex has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
In the morning, enjoy a scenic boat trip on the Perfume River to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda or Heavenly Lady pagoda, one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Situated 4 km upstream on the banks of the Perfume River, it is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601.
Visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue with the Purple Forbidden City.
Lunch at a local restaurant then transfer to Tu Duc Royal Tomb, the Emperor of the Imperial City built his own tomb during his reign and today you will visit one of the most beautiful mausoleums.
End the tour and transfer to the Phu Bai airport to take a short flight to Saigon. Upon arrival you are welcome by the guide and transfer to hotel.

Day 7 : Saigon Cu Chi Tunnel - Saigon City Tour
We depart at 8.00AM from your hotel. Drive 70kms Northwest of Ho Chi Minh city to Cu Chi with stop en route to visit a rice paper making village.
Before entering Cu Chi Tunnels, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. Also on displaying are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels to see the first-hand how the Viet Cong communists were able to survive in this underground network.
Lunch at local restaurant. Afterwards, transfer back to Saigon for ½ day city tour.
We will visit the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975.
The nearby Notre Dame Cathedral. Next to the cathedral stands the Saigon Post Office.

Day 8 : Saigon - Mekong Delta - Departure
In the morning, take 2 hour drive southwest of Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta which is known as the rice bowl of Vietnam. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise around islets and tropical orchards through the canal of Vam Xep to reach a small islet, followed by a relaxing walk along shady and palm fringed trails passing by local villages where you can see their peaceful daily life. Stop en route to visit a bee farm, sip special tea with honey and sample fruits with a local family and share their stories of life in the Mekong Delta. Visit a small coconut workshop, just to get a glimpse of typical family run business in this area.
Walk to a lane where a horse-drawn cart awaits you to transfer to visit handicraft village, a coconut candy factory, enjoy tropical fruit, traditional music and then relaxation with rowing boat through the narrow under shade palm, tree-lined canals of Mekong River before returning to My Tho by motorized boat. Enjoy lunch at local restaurant on the islet before heading back Saigon and there is onward transfer to the airport for your flight
