This two centered guided hike takes you to the very best of middle Dalmatia, from its mountains and rivers to Islands’ open horizon experience. Followed by amazing gourmet journey day after day.
Today we will have an easy start. We will enjoy beautiful Marjan hill and the city of Split, exploring its historical and natural side. We will climb to the highest point of marjan hill which offer spectacular views on the city and surrounding islands, form where you will get better feel which places will be visited in upcoming week. Overnight in hotel in Split.
We will hike on trails that are very popular with local mountaineers. Mosor is a mountain range in Croatia located near the city of Split on the Adriatic coast. It offers variety of routes from easy walking (although in rough carst terrain) to real climbing routes and superb views on Croatian islands, coastal mountains or interior mountains.
We will depart on early morning ferry from Split to Brac island. As we arrive to Brac transfer will take us to the highest point of Brac – Vidova Gora which is highest peak of Dalmatian islands (780m). We will hike to Blaca hermitage which is protected by UNESCO. Return to Split on evening ferry and overnight in our hotel.
After breakfast we will take a shuttle from Split to Makarska Riviera, (about 50km), situated at the foothill of mountain Biokovo which is a part of the Dinaric Mountains and as such has a direction of NW-SE. Other than its position, Biokovo is unique also because of its geomorphology and its biological diversity which were the main reasons Biokovo was proclaimed a Nature Park in 1981. Overnight in Split.
We will depart on a morning ferry from Split to Hvar island, from where we will start our hike, passing through terraced fields and abandoned villages.
You will hear about the history of lavender production and learn many interesting facts about one of the most beautiful Croatian islands.

We will start on a shuttle to Humac, once a shepherds' settlement, which offers a bird’s eye view of the valleys and headlands on the west side of the Island. From Humac we will hike to Grapceva Cave, the cradle of Hvar's culture and civilization. The cave is one of the prehistoric findings dating back to the Neolithic Period 5000 - 4000 years BC and one of the oldest discoveries in the Adriatic and the Mediterranean.
Overnight Hvar town.
Today we will hike to the peak of St. Nikola. The hiking tour leads you through vineyards following ancient paths treaded by locals who still cultivate their land in the same way their ancestors used to do. On the way down you will stop at beautiful cave and finally arrive in the village of Sveta Nedjelja. Since we continue along seaside there would be chance for swimming in one of beautiful bays on the way. Overnight Hvar town.
