Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Arrive Calicut before 1000 Hrs and drive to Wayanad (100 Kms 2 /12 Hrs), a pristine destination, located in Majestic Western Ghats, famous for its dense forests, deep valleys and spectacular waterfalls. En-route we watch the famous chain tree and Pookote Lake. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy tunes of the birds. Evening you may consider taking some optional programs like trekking as given by the hotel. Overnight in Wayanad.

• Day 2 : Sight seeing in Wayanad.

  After breakfast the sightseeing excursion takes you to interesting places like Soochippara waterfalls, Meenmutty waterfalls, Jain Temple, Muthanga Wild Life Sanctuary etc., Return back to the hotel and retire to the symphony of nature. You can also take OPTIONAL programs like Jungle Safari, Ayurveda Massage as given by the hotel on direct payment basis. Overnight in Wayanad.

• Day 3 : Drive up to Ooty

  After early breakfast, we drive through the scenic route, enjoying the perfect silence, the lush greenery and tranquil surroundings to reach Ooty, the Queen of all Hill stations. Established by the British in early 19th century, Udagamandalam as it is called today is famous for its unique bio-diversity and it's ever blue mountains. Afternoon sightseeing excursion takes you to important points like Botanical garden, Ooty Lake, Dodabetta Peak, film shooting spots, St. Stephen's Church etc.. Rest of the day is free to enjoy this popular summer retreat, which still holds the old world charm and pristine natural beauty. Overnight at Ooty.

• Day 4 : Coonoor Excursion

  After breakfast day is at leisure. Laze around or walk in the garden area or go on a boating in the lake. You can also go on an excursion to Coonnoor which is a lower altitude hill station in its own right. You can visit Sim's Park a garden with many rare flowers and shrubs. You can enjoy the scenic beauty from viewpoints of Dolphin's nose and Lamb's rock. Overnight in Ooty.

• Day 5 : Ooty to Kodaikanal

  After Breakfast, we drive down to Coimbatore where you can have a stop for textile shopping if required. Later we pass through the Highways and drive uphill to Kodaikanal, 'The Princess of Hill Station'. Nestled 7200 feet above sea level in the romantic Palani Hills of Tamilnadu, this charming land remain untouched by time and unspoilt by visitors since colonial era. The breath taking scenery, serene hills and gorgeous forests around makes this little town as a ever lovable hill station. Overnight Kodaikanal.

  After Breakfast, the sightseeing excursion takes you to some most important points like Kodaikanal lake, Kurinji Andavar Murugan temple, Dolphin's Nose, Silver Cascade, Pillar Rocks, Observatory, Green Valley View, Coaker's Walk, Bear Shola Fall etc., Rest of the day is free to enjoy this land of unlimited beauty and that intoxicating, yet romantic breeze Overnight Kodaikanal.

• Day 7 : Kodaikanal to Thekkady

  After breakfast drive we drive through th lively villages, local farms and many plantation to reach Thekkady - A dream destination set amidst the cardamom and other spice scented plantations. On the way you may prefer to have some photo-stops. Afternoon sightseeing takes you on a plantation tour to have glimpses of how spices are grown followed by a boating (on direct payment) on the Lake Periyar where you may spot some wild animals. The passengers should join the queue to take the boating tickets. Overnight in Thekkady.

• Day 8 : Thekkady to Munnar

  Early morning you can try boating if you have not done earlier. After breakfast, the drive of breath taking beauty takes you to Munnar- A haven of peace and tranquillity set amidst the pristine tea and coffee plantations. On the way there are good number of view points and scenic locations for photo stops. May be you can try a cup of tea from a local shop too. On arrival at leisure. Overnight in Munnar.

  Breakfast. Today's sightseeing takes you to places like Mattupetty Dam, Pothenmedu view point, Kundala Dam, Echo Point, Tea Museum etc. Evening you may like to walk around the town or do some shopping for souvenirs and tea. Overnight in Munnar.
