Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh Rly. Station/IXC Airport - Shimla (114 kms/4 hrs)

  On arrival at Chandigarh Rly. Station/Airport, transfer to Shimla (7238 fts / 2206 mts)– the former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow cappedshivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Arrive and check-in to the hotel. Evening free for shopping at Mall by walk. Overnight stay at Shimla.
• Day 2 : Shimla Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast excursion to Kufri (9000 fts / 2800 mts)– famous for its Himalayan National Park, enjoy a pony or a yak ride (on your own) around the park. One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri and visit Nag Devta Mandir. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing of various places in and around. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Scandal Point, KaaliBaari temple and Jakhoo temple (if time permits). Evening is free to explore the famous shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. Overnight stay at Shimla.

• Day 3 : Shimla - Manali (248 kms/9 hrs)

  After breakfast transfer to Manali (13500 fts / 4115 mts)– a high altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh, on the bank of Beas River. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination.On the way you can visit Kullu Shawl Factory (Bhuttico) at Kullu valley and Vaishno Mata Temple. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure to explore the beautiful hill station of Manali (on your own). Overnight stay at Manali.

• Day 4 : Manali Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast proceed for Manali Local sightseeing, covering Hidimba Temple, Tibetan monastery, Manu Temple, Vashist Temple, Handicraft Centre and Club House. Evening free for shopping and stroll along the streets of Manali for a relaxing experience. Afterwards, return back to the hotel.Overnight stay at Manali.

• Day 5 : Excursion to Solang Valley &Rohtang Pass (56 kms/3 hrs one way)

  After early breakfast enjoy a breathtaking drive to Rohthang Pass* (At own cost). Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass - the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit upto Snow Point where ponies / horses can be hired directly. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. On you’re descends to Manali, halt at the Marhi, Ralha falls, Nehru Kund and also visit Solang Valley, where you can opt for adventure sports like Para Gliding, Zorbing or Skiing (subject to snow) on direct-payment basis. After completing the sightseeing, back to the hotel and rest for some time. Later, go for an evening walk in the Mall Road, which is among the most famous attractions of this place. This road with numerous shops, branded outlets, eateries is the best place to spend an evening in leisure. Thereafter, return to the hotel and overnight stay at Manali.
  
  *Note: Excursion to Rohtang is not included in the itinerary because NGT has restricted the number of vehicle to this place and it entirely depends upon the permission on a particular day. In that case travelling expenses to Rohtang Pass will be borne by the client.

• Day 6 : Manali - Dharamshala (215 kms/8 hrs)

  After breakfast transfer to Dharamshala(6832 fts / 2082 mts), stands at the foot of Dhauladhar and has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forests, tea gardens and beautiful hills.Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness The Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.On arrival check-in to the hotel.Evening free to explore the surroundings of town. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.
• Day 7 : Dharamshala Sightseeing - Dalhousie (117 kms/6½ hrs)

  After a filling delicious breakfast, have a sightseeing tour of Dharamshala covering Tibetan Medical Centre, Bhagsunag Temple, Bhagsunag Falls, St. John's Church, Local monasteries, Dal lake, Naddi etc. Later proceed to Dalhousie, a hill station full of colonial charm withamazing natural beauty and pleasant climate, founded by British Raj Lord Dalhousie in 1854.The popular hill top is located at Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, spread out over the five hills (Kathlog, Potreys, Tehra, Bakrota and Balun). Arrive and check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

• Day 8 : Excursion to Chamba&Khajjiar (43 kms/3 hrs)

  After breakfast starts for an excursion to Chamba and Khajjiar.Khajjiar (6500 fts / 2000 mts)popularly known as “Mini Switzerland” of India, where you can also enjoy various sports activities like Zorbing etc at your own.Later we proceed to Chamba (5250 fts / 1600 mts)town stands on the right bank of the river Ravi. As a former princely State, it is one of the oldest in the century and dates back to the sixth century. It is well known for its splendid architecture and a base for numerous excursions. It is also the district headquarters. Visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Chamba Church and Bhuri Sing Museum, enjoy view of Ravi River and Chameri Dam also a chance to get the view of Mani Mahesh view known as Mini Kailash (Subject to weather conditions).Evening back to the hotel.Overnight stay at Dalhousie.
• Day 9 : Dalhousie - Chandigarh Rly. Station/IXC Airport (327 kms/10 hrs)

  After breakfast check-out from hotel and take the departure transfers to Chandigarh Rly. Station/Airport orRly. Station/Airportfor your onward journey.
