• Day 1 : ARRIVE DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

  Arrive Delhi International Airport. Meeting and assistance upon arrival and transfer to your hotel in Mumbai
  
  Perhaps there is no other capital city in the world so steeped in history and legend as the Indian capital Delhi. It was the magnet, which drew the Mongols, Turks, Persians, Afghans, Mughals and the British, all of whom contributed to its glorious but turbulent past. The fascination with Delhi was such that even though it was abandoned many times, its rulers returned to it again and again rebuilding it at least seven times. Today, the twin cities of Old and New Delhi still intrigue Indians and tourists alike as the cultural and political capital of the largest democracy in the world.

  Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Chandigarh station and proceed for city tour of Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab and Haryana, was designed by Le Corbusier, the famous French architect. It is unlike any city in India, with modern buildings, broad boulevards, parks and an overall air of prosperity. A half-day tour of the city includes a visit to the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly, the multi-pillared High Court, State Library and University. Also visit the Rose Garden with more than 1500 varieties of roses, the Botanical Garden and the beautiful Sukhna lake.
  
  After city tour proceed for Shimla. Upon arrival check in at your hotel.
  The British called Shimla the "Queen of Hill Stations." Situated in the northwest Himalayas, Shimla the summer capital of India before independence is now the capital of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla derives its name from "Shyamala";- the goddess Kali, whose temple existed in the dense forest that covered Jakhu Hill in the early 19th century. The English named it Shimla. Covering the area of 18 sq. km. at a height of 7,238 ft. Shimla is surrounded by pine, deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Its well-developed facilities, easy accessibility and numerous attractions make it one of Indian's most popular and biggest hill-stations.

  After breakfast proceed for Manali. Upon arrival check in at hotel in Manali.
  Manali occupies the valley with the once unspoilt Old village to the north and Vashist up on the opposite hillside across the river. Set amidst picturesque apple orchards Manali is packed with Pahari speaking Kullus, Lahaulis, Nepali labourers and enterprising Tibetan refugees who have opened guesthouse, restaurants and craft shops. It is also a major tourist destination for Indian holidaymakers.

• Day 5 : IN MANALI
