Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh - Shimla (1900mtrs.) 130kms 4 hrs

  Arrive Chandigarh and transfer by road to Shimla the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Visit Kufri and local sight seeing in Shimla

  This morning you will visit Kufri situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hour’s drive from Shimla. Later visit the Jakhoo hills that offer a panoramic view of the town visit the Vice Regal Lodge and walk down the Mall Road. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 3 : Shimla - Manali (2000 mtrs) 260kms 7 hrs

  Today you will proceed by road to Manali Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest. Surrounding Scenery is exciting. Overnight in Hotel.

• Day 4 : Local sight seeing in Manali

  Visit Manu Temple, Hadimba Temple which is 450 years old, which has some excellent woodcarving. You also visit the Tibetan Monastery – Buddha images, Thankha paintings and Vashisht Village – Temple and hot spring sulphur water and the handicraft centre, rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 5 : Visit Rohtang Pass

  Full day tour of Rohtang Pass (an altitude of 3978 meters) - The majesty of the mountains and the glaciers can be seen at their best; you have next two hours to enjoy this snowy haven. Take a sledge ride down the slopes, try your luck climbing the little snow hills. On your descent to Manali, halt at the Rahalla falls and Solang Valley. The Magnificent views and natural beauty are a never-ending source of delight. Also halt at Marhi, Rahla falls, Nehru Kund. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : Manali - Dharamshala (235kms)

  After breakfast drive to Dharamshala. En route visit Baijnath the oldest existing Shiva Temple in the country. Arrive Dharamshala and check in at hotel. Afternoon visit, Dall Lake, McLeodganj, St. Johns Church etc. Overnight at the Hotel.

• Day 7 : Dharamshala - Dalhousie (143kms)

  After breakfast depart for Dalhousie by Road. Arrive Dalhousie full day is at leisure for shopping and individual activities. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 8 : Dalhousie - Pathankot (80km)

  Full day sightseeing to Khajjiar, 18 Kms from Dalhousie. It’s one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. After lunch drive to Pathankot.
