Himachal Tour with Amritsar

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi-Shimla 345 Kms / 9 hrs

  Morning Pick up from airport and drive to Shimla. Arrive and check in at hotel. Later proceed for sight seeing tour to Wildflower Hall, Indira Holiday Home, Advance Study & Museum. Overnight stay at Shimla.

• Day 2 : Local Sightseeing At Shimla

  Morning proceed for sightseeing tour of Shimla covering Kalbadevi Temple, Jakhu Temple, Hanuman Temple or stop for a while at the beautiful stained-glass windows of Christ Church. Afternoon excursion to Kufri- a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla. Evening free to enjoy the scenic beauty of Kufri. Also visit Fagu, and enjoy horse riding in the apple orchids optional. Rest of the day is free to explore. Overnight stay at Shimla.

• Day 3 : Shimla-Manali 250 Kms/ 8 hrs

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Manali 7-8 hr. Pass by beautiful Kullu valley, Beas river, Dashehra maidan etc. Arrive and check in at hotel. Evening free to explore Manali. Overnight stay in Manali.

• Day 4 : Local Sight Seeing of Manali Town

  Arrival at Manali, after breakfast, proceed to half day city tour visiting Hadimba Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Evening free for roam at your own. Overnight stay at Manali.

• Day 5 : Manali to Rohtang Pass to Manali 51 Kms.

  Today morning after breakfast excursion trip to Rohtang Pass up to snow line if Rohtang Pass is closed after Snow Line cab on sharing basis to Rohtang Pass on your own expenses, Enjoy Skiing, Horse Riding, Yak Riding, Snow Scooter ride on your own expenses Afternoon at 4 – 5 pm return to Manali. Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel. Note- Vehicle will not proceed further than GULABA BARRIER due to limitation by NGT. Please Check NGT Terms and Conditions.

• Day 6 : Manali - Dharamshala 230 kms/ 6 hrs

  After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Dharamshala. Arrive Dharamshala and check in at hotel. After you will visit Baijnath - the oldest existing Shiva temple in the country, War Memorial, Kanga Art Museum, Dal Lake, McLeodganj, St. Johns Church etc. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

• Day 7 : Dharamshala - Dalhousie 120 kms/ 4 hrs

  Morning after breakfast departs for Dalhousie. Situated at 2039 mts in the outer slope s of the Dhaula Dhar range with its natural beauty and natural surroundings. On arrival check- in at the hotel. Rest of the day for leisure and shopping. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 8 : Dalhousie Full Day Sightseeing to Khajjiar

  Dalhousie. Its one of the most scenic saucer shaped Plateau and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests, its beauty has further been enhanced by a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here are the other interesting places to cover. Return to Dalhousie and overnight at the hotel.

• Day 9 : Dalhousie to Amritsar 225 kms/ 4. 5 hrs

  After Breakfast we checkout from Dalhousie and proceed for Amritsar by road on arrival checkin at hotel and later visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay in Amritsar.

• Day 10 : Tour Ends

  After breakfast, check out from the hotel, visit Golden temple and later drop at Amritsar Airport / Railway Station Or You can take your drop off Delhi Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey with memories of FlyIndiaTrip.
