Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Deriving its name from the Goddess Kali, Kalka is a beautiful city located in Panchkula District of Haryana. The city, with its serene environment and rich heritage, attracts tourists from far and wide. Famous as the gateway to the stunning state of Himachal Pradesh, Kalka has successfully retained its unique charm in the modern age. Some of the popular places in Kalka are Kali Mata Temple and Shri Balaji Temple.
Day 4 : Shimla
Shimla is a popular hill station in Himachal Pradesh which once served as a summer capital of the British. Oozing an extraordinary charm, Shimla provides a glimpse into its rich cultural heritage. Offering enchanting views of lush green valleys, snow-clad Himalayan peaks and salubrious weather; Shimla proves to be a perfect holiday retreat. It displays the colonial appeal through various heritage buildings, hand-painted signs in markets and iron lamp posts. Some of the famous attractions in Shimla are Viceregal Lodge, Mall Road, Annandale, Tara Devi Temple, Kalka - Shimla Railway, etc.
Day 5 : Mandi
Famous as the ‘Kashi of hills’ for housing a significant number of temples, Mandi in Himachal Pradesh is blessed with matchless beauty. A thick vegetation of deodar and pine trees along with lush green tea estates envelops the entire city. The city boasts of its rich culture and heritage, which are visible through its beautiful collection of temples, some old palaces and exquisite form of colonial architecture. There are glittering lakes and splendid gardens which add tremendous beauty to it. Mandi is also a gateway to the illustrious valleys of Kullu, Manali, Spiti and Lahaul. Tarna Temple, Panchavaktra temple, Rewalsar Lake and Sunken Garden are major crowd pullers.
Day 6 : Taragarh
Taragarh in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra Valley is home to the majestic Taragarh Palace, one of the most popular attractions of the region. The palace was built by the Nawab of Bahawalpur Sadiq Mohammed Khan in 1937 which later became the property of Royal Family of Jammu & Kashmir. A heritage hotel since 1971, it is an awesome place to get the resplendent views of the snowy Dhauladhar mountain ranges.
Day 7 : Dharamshala
Featuring picturesque natural beauty, Dharamshala is a popular tourist spot in Himachal Pradesh. Exhibiting a unique amalgamation of Tibetan, Himachali and British cultures, this place provides enchanting views of the adjoining Kangra Valley. McLeod Ganj is the most famous place among tourists. The rock temples in Masrur are worth exploring. One can also indulge into various adventure sports activities here.
Day 8 : Pragpur
Located at a height of about 1,800 feet above the sea level, Pragpur is a tiny village in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra District. It was declared a heritage village by the Himachal Pradesh Government in December 1997. The village was founded around the late 16th century to honour Princess Prag of the Jaswan royal family. It is famous for housing three holy Shaktipeeths - Chintapoorni, Jwalamukhi and Brijeshwari.

The city of Hoshiarpur in Punjab is popular as the ‘City of Saints’ because of its association to many saints. It is believed to be founded during the early part of the 4th century which was later occupied by the forces of Maharaja Karanvir Singh in 1809. The archaeological remains of the temples situated at Dholbaha are main attraction here.
