MANALI : Manali is named after the Sanatan Hindu lawgiver Manu. Manali, at the northern end of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, is a hill station situated at a height of 2050m (6398 ft) in the Himalayas. The landscape here is breath- taking. One sees well-defined snow capped peaks, the Beas River with its clear water meandering through the town. On the other side are deodar and pine trees, tiny fields and fruit orchards. The British introduced apple trees in the area. The first apple orchard was set up by the British near Patlikuhl,, Manali is also on the road to Ladakh via the valley of Lahaul and Spiti .
Shimla :- Shimla is on the south-western ranges of the Himalayas has an average altitude of 7,238 ft above mean sea level. Simla, is the capital and the largest city of the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh .Small hamlets were recorded prior to 1815 when British forces took control of the area. The climatic conditions attracted the British to establish the city in the dense forests of Himalayas. As the summer capital, Shimla hosted many important political meetings including the Simla Accord of 1914 and the Simla Conference of 1945. Shimla is home to a number of buildings that are styled in the Tudorbethan and neo-Gothic architectures dating from the colonial era, as well as multiple temples and churches

The city Dharamshala is the centre of the Tibetan exile world in India. In the 1959 Tibetan uprising there was an influx of Tibetan refugees who followed the 14th Dalai Lama.
The Mannu valley, means 'the abode of Manu'. Legend has it that sage Manu stepped off his ark in Manali to recreate human life after a great flood had deluged the world.
The Rohtang pass ( a high altitude pass ,13 100 feet) gate way to Lahaul valley, leh ladakh, which remains closed for the six month in a year because of heavy snowfall.
The city Shimla which was declared as the summer capital of British India.British officers and their families started spending their holidays in Shimla and soon a little settlement of 30 houses, mostly around Jakhoo hill, developed by 1830.
Day 1 : Dharamsala - Macleodganj
Arrival at Dharamsala in morning you will be received by us and Drive to our hotel freshen up , breakfast and rest for a while and drive to our local sight seeing around Dharamsala.
From Mecleodganj walk to the majestic Bhagsu waterfall situated near Bhagsu village is one of the main attraction near market, spend some lesuire time at waterfall come back to mecleodganj, have lunch in market , and the drive to Naddi veiw point and Picturesque Dal lake not so large namesake in Kashmir , the lake lying amidst the hill and surrounded by the fir trees has a certain charm all of its own.A little walk around the lake and can do boating and visit to saint John church after come back to mecleodganj and visit to The seat of Dalai lama temple is also called Tsuglakhang Temple . Dalai lama visits the temple twice or thrice every year to preach and bless. This is very peaceful temple . after visit the temple come back to your Hotel . Night stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Dharamsala – Manali (240 Km / 08hrs)
Early after breakfast drive to Manali via Mandi , Kullu , on the way visit to the International cricket stadium and a beautiful tea gardens and its tea, known as Dharamsala or Kangra tea, is very popular across India and the rest of the world., Dharamshala now produces all teas including black tea, green tea, oolong tea and white teas.
Arriving at Baijnath visit to Shiva Temple construction in 1204 A.D. The present temple is a beautiful example of the early medieval north Indian Temple architecture known as Nagara style of temple and a porch in its front was constructed.Lunch is on the way.Drive towards Manali have a look of a magnificent Pandoh Dam was built in 1977 with the primary purpose of generating hydroelectric power. this dam, measuring 76 m in height, and drive along river beas , passes through the beautiful city Kullu famous for the woollen shawls on the river bank in evening we will arrive at Manali. Night stay in Manali
Day 3 : Manali – Solang Nalla – Manali
Early in the morning after breakfast have a darshan of Godess Hadimba , a four teired, pagoda shaped roof and a front doorway carved with figuers and symbols, the lovely temple stands as a mute tribute to the supreme artist who sacrificed the very hand. Drive to a Solang valley , a splended valley , offers a veiw of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains peaks .Giant slopes of lawn comprise Solang Valley a good skiing slopes equipped with an excellent lift. A few ski agencies offering courses and equipment reside here and operate only during winters .Snow melts during the summer months starting May and skiing is then replaced by zorbing (a giant ball with room for 2 people which is rolled down a 200 metre hill), paragliding, parachuting and horse riding.In the evening drive back to Manai and spend a lesuire time at The mall road Manli . Night stay in Manali.
Day 4 : Manali – Rohtang Pass- Manali (51km/ 03hrs)
Today we will explore the high altitude Rohtang pass (13100feet) gateway to leh ladakh.
Early breakfast , we drive to Rohtang pass on the way visit to Vashist temple dedicated to the local deity and sage Saint Vashist, the Vashist Temple on the banks of River Ravi . The temple showcases lovely wood carvings. The real attraction here is the therapeutic hot springs that are piped and cemented to make for a public bath.After a drshan at temple drive to the pass,Rohtang pass is another adventure tourist site where it can be cold even on a summer day. It is the highest point on the Manali-Keylong road and provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is truly breath taking. . It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India. This pass is an ancient trade route between the people on either side of Pir Panjal. In winter, the mountains at the Rohtang Pass are completely covered in snow and it is impossible to get there. Hence, the pass remains closed during winters (from October) and generally opens again in May.
Rohtang becomes a place for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers. The snow-covered mountains provide the perfect opportunity to go skiing and snow scooter riding. Enjoy this wonderful place and enjoy some quality time together.In after noon come Back to Manali spend some lesuire time at a Manali Club house maintained by the Himachal Tourism Development Corporation a best centres of recreation in Manali,can enjoy various indoor and outdoor games by paying nominal charges. Games and facilities include an auditorium, billiards room, library, roller skating rink, carom room, bar and restaurant. Night stay at Manali.
Day 5 : Manali- Shimla (250km/7.30hrs )
Early after breakfast drive to Shimla via Mandi Bilaspur Lunch is on the way. Evening time roll over The mall road &The Ridge It's known for handicraft shops that beautify the glory of mall. Here Lakkar Bazar famous for wooden toys and crafts. Beautiful Church, Temples and historical buildings are symbols of attraction for all.
Day 6 : Shimla – Kufri - Shimla
Early morning after breakfast drive to sight seeing around Kufri
Green valley :- One of the mesmerzing sight of the nature, perfect example of the Lonely planet for the Shimla and H.P as one of the most beautiful place on the earth.It has also been the scene of the shooting in the numerous Hindi movies, most beautiful photography point of the nature , the criss crossed snow mountain which has been blanketed under the carpet of green.
Kufri fun campus :-Fun Campus,dventure at the height of 9000 feet , is equipped with various rides, pools and world's highest go-kart track.
Himalayan nature pasrk :-It a large eco tourism hub where tourists from all across the world converge to witness rare species of animals like musk deer, snow leopards, etc. This park spread awareness about a huge variety of flora and fauna in Himalayas. The scenic view of snow covered peaks and abundant landscape makes for a wonderful experience.
Chini Bunglow :-It is the Kufri bungalow which is very famous for its statues and architecture.
Jakhu temple :- It is situated on Jakhoo hill is the highest peak offers a panoramic view of the Shivalik Ranges and the town of Sanjauli. In 2010 a huge statue of Hanuman is built near temple, cosidered as world”s talest statue at 108 feet at the high altitude of over 8100feet.

Day 7 : Shimla-Masobra-Naldehra-Shimla

Masobra :- Mashobra is dominated by mist bathed hills, trees of pine, oak, cedar and deodar, apple orchards, and a picturesque stream gushing through the valley, enabling visitors to connect with their rich, fresh surroundings and unwind. Known as the ‘Quieter Shimla’, Mashobra takes pride in being amongst the prominent offbeat places to visit near Himalayas.
Naldehra :- Nestled between the beautiful lofty ranges of the Himalayas, lies the Naldehra hill station. The blue skies, lush green forests and an occasional rainbow thrown in makes the place look like it has been painted on a canvas. In Naldehra is the 9 hole golf course measuring 4,285 yards which was suggested and developed by Lord Curzon the then Viceroy of India in the early 1900s. It is probably the oldest golf course in India. Captivated by the beauty of the place, surrounded by a thick forest of Himalayan cedar.
The Rashtrapati Niwas, also known as Viceregal Lodge:- Is located on the Observatory Hills in ShimlaIt was formerly the residence of the British Viceroy of India. It houses some of the most ancient articles and photographs going back to the times of the British rule in India. The Viceregal Lodge was designed by British architect Henry Irwin and built in the Jacobethan style during Lord Dufferin’s tenure as Viceroy. Its construction started in 1880 and was completed in 1888.
The Rashtrapati Nivas Estate was transferred to the Ministry of Education to be handed over to the Indian Institute of Advanced Study.
