Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive in Addis Ababa

  Arrive in Addis Ababa, meet and greet at the Airport and transfer to your hotel.

• Day 2 : Drive to Bahirdar

  Drive to Bahirdar, en route visit Debrelibanos monastery and the Blue Nile gorge.

• Day 3 : Drive to the Blue Nile falls

  Drive to the Blue Nile falls (Tis Issat), about 45 minutes by road from Bahir dar followed by a 30 minute; walk from the road to the falls. Here, the Blue Nile starts its journey to the Mediterranean. These amazing waterfalls are 400 meters wide and more than 45 meters in height.
  Afternoon boat excursion on Lake Tana to visit the Lake monasteries of Ura Kidan Mehret and Zeghie Peninsula.

  Drive to Gonder and afternoon; visit the castles compound, Ruin palaces, Bath of King Fasiledes (1632-1667 G.C) and visit Debre Berhan Sellasie Church famous for its wall & ceiling paints of 18th Century.

  Visit in Axum, St. Mary of Zion church which the Ark of the Covenant resides it brought by King Solomon and Queen of Sheba's son "Menelik" almost 3000 years ago and visit the museum, Obelisks and Stele, the Castle Ruins of King Kaleb and Queen of Sheba's Bath and Palace.

• Day 7 : Drive to Mekelle

  Drive to Mekelle, making short photo stops on your way. Full day cruise on the eastern edge of the Ethiopian highlands You meet the local people of Amhara & Tigay. Check in to your hotel then make a sightseeing tour of Mekelle for its Market, Museum and Monuments then Abreha Asebeha church.
