Package Overview

We specialise in small group tours of up to 8 people (or 10 hobbits) for a flexible and friendly transport service.

AUCKLAND TO HOBBITON
Our journey begins from your accommodation at 7am from where we head south over the Bombay hills towards the movie set of Hobbiton, which is located in idyllic countryside just outside of the Waikato town of Matamata.

We stop for a comfort stop and refreshments at one of the small country towns along the way, and you are welcome to indulge in our home-baked on-board morning tea picnic (included), or select from the bakery selection of one of the local cafes (not included).

Your Hobbiton tour departing from Shires rest is approximately 2 hours in duration and includes a fully guided tour and a visit to the Green Dragon Inn. We have time afterwards for a bite to eat and a spot of shopping at the Shires rest.

Our return trip to Auckland is via rolling rural hills. Our excursion concludes at your accommodation around 4pm.
