Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin – Munnar (110 Km.)

  On arrival at Cochin airport take a transfer to Munnar. Check-in to your hotel, in the evening visit the Tata Tea Museum and enjoy the beautiful serenity of the tea plantations (remains closed on Mondays). Return to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Munnar

  After breakfast at the hotel, take a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Munnar is famous for its tea plantations. Visit Eravikulam National Park and explore its rich flora and fauna. Relish the local food at a good restaurant. Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam. Enjoy the echo phenomenon at the famous Echo Point. Return to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening at your own leisure. Have a warm, hearty dinner and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay in your room.

• Day 3 : Munnar - Thekkady (110 km. 4 hours)

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and have lunch (on your own). In the afternoon, proceed for a soul soothing boat cruise through the backwaters near Thekkady. Thekkady is known for its Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. During your cruise, stopover at this fascinating town and observe the wild animals in their natural habitat. Take a tour around the Spice Plantations or enjoy an elephant ride in the evening (on direct payment basis). Return to your hotel in the evening. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel after a hearty dinner.

• Day 4 : Thekkady – Kovalam (210 Km)

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam. En route visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Later proceed towards Kovalam. On arrival, check-in at your hotel and visit the beaches in Kovalam (Light House beach, Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach). Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 5 : Kovalam

  After breakfast, visit Vellayani Devi Temple, Vellayani Lake, Parashurama Temple, & Karamana River. Later visit Napier Museum and Zoological Park and walk through the lush green zoo for a memorable experience. (The zoo remains closed on Mondays). Overnight stay at the hotel.

• Day 6 : Kovalam – Alleppey (160 Km)

  After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey and reach there by afternoon. On arrival, check-into houseboat, unpack and relax. Stay overnight at the houseboat.

• Day 7 : Alleppey – Cochin (90 km)

  After breakfast check out from the Houseboat and driver to Cochin Airport for your return journey.
