Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jammu - Katra (50 kms)

  On arrival at Jammu airport, you will be transferred to Katra in an air-conditioned vehicle which will take approximately 2 hours. On arrival in Katra, check-in at your hotel.
  The holy town of Katra is the starting point of the 14 km (approx.) trek to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. You may leave for Darshan in the evening (or next morning, as per your choice). You’ll be given your yatra parchi at the hotel and the hotel will provide you a transfer to Ban Ganga, which is the starting point of the yatra.

• Day 2 : Katra - Vaishno Devi Darshan

  The duration of Darshan can range from 7 hours to more than 20 hours depending on the customer. Once you return back to Ban Ganga, you’ll be transferred to your hotel for breakfast (if the timings match) and for an overnight stay.
  Please note that the breakfast timings are fixed as per the hotel’s breakfast timings.

• Day 3 : Katra - Shivkhori - Katra (70 kms)

  After an early morning breakfast, you will proceed to the Shivkhori temple, which will take around 3 hours to reach. Khori means cave and thus, ‘Shivkhori’ means the cave of Lord Shiva. Along the way to Shivkhori, you will stop at two holy spots. You’ll first see Aghar Jitto (6 kms from Katra) which is the shrine of revolutionary Baba Jitto. Next, you’ll visit the shrine of Nau Deviyan (10 kms from Katra).
  On reaching Shivkhori, you’ll be dropped at the starting point of the 4-km-long yatra to the Shivling. The yatra and Darshan can take anything between 1.5 to 3 hours. On your return back to the starting point, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Katra, which will take around 3 hours, for overnight stay.
  Please note that you must leave in the morning to visit Shivkhori since the roads are closed in the evenings (after light fades).

• Day 4 : Katra - Jammu (50 kms)

  After breakfast, you will be transferred to Jammu airport or Jammu railway station, which will take 1.5 to 2 hours. With that, the tour ends.
