Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport .You will be met by a Heritage Israel Tour (Shalom Journeys) representative, and be transferred to your hotel
Day 2 : Caesarea /Megiddo

Following breakfast, we will journey along the coastal plain to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region.

Proceed to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; visit the archaeological excavations.
Furthermore, continue to Daliat-el-Carmel, a Druze village and enjoy a late lunch at a local restaurant.
To conclude, proceed via Mount Carmel to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Haifa bay and the golden domed Bahai gardens.
Day 3 : Tiberias / Wester Galilee

Following breakfast, you will start our day with a boat cruise on the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ Galilean ministry and the site of many of His miracles (Mark 2:4; Matt. 8:5; 14-17; 9:1-7; 17:18).
See the remains of Peter’s house and the synagogue site where Jesus taught and worshiped (Mark 1:21; Luke 4:31).
Continue to Tabgha, the site of the multiplication of the loaves and the fishes (John 6:1-14)

Moreover, in Nazareth, we will visit the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Workshop and Mary’s Well.

Stroll down the Palm Sunday Route on the Mount of Olives to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church Of All Nations.
Moving on, from here we proceed by bus across the Kidron Valley, past the tombs of Absolom, Zacharias, James and King Jehoshaphat to Mt. Zion.
Furthermore, visit the site of David’s tomb and the Upper Room where the Last Supper was held Enter the walled city and walk through the newly restored Jewish quarter.
Visit the Roman Cardo, the Herodian quarter and continue to the Western Wall.
Moreover, walk along the Via Delarosa to the Church of Holy Sepulchre.
To conclude the day, we will return to our hotel for the remainder of the day at leisure and enjoy dinner at our hotel.
Day 6 : New City

Following breakfast, you will drive to Ein Kerem, to visit the Church of the Visitation and the birthplace of John the Baptist.
Most important, pay our respects at Yad Vashem – the Israeli Holocaust memorial.
Enter the site by walking along the Street of the Righteous Gentiles, dedicated to the non-Jews that risked their lives in order to save their Jewish neighbors.
Moreover, continue to Israel Museum
Here will will visit the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed, and a miniature model of Jerusalem is on display.
To conclude, we will proceed to Bethlehem ** to visit the Church of the Nativity. Dinner at our hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 7 : Massada and the Dead Sea area

Following breakfast, drive towards the Dead Sea area.
The lowest point on earth, almost 1300 feet (400 meters) below sea level.

Furthermore, drive along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada.
Moreover, ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress where the Zealots made their last stand against the Romans.
To conclude the day, descend by cable car and head to the Dead Sea for a swim (cover yourself with the mineral rich mud and float on the water).
Day 8 : Timna / Underwater Observatory

Travel south through the Negev desert. Next a stop at Timna, a large geological and archaeological park;

Day 9 : At leisure

To conclude the day, transfer to the border at around 18:00 p.m and crossing back into Eilat, Israel.
Day 10 : Mitzpe Ramon / Sde Boker

Following breakfast, we will depart Eilat via Mitzpe Ramon and stop to gaze into a geological wonder, the Ramon crater.
Proceed to Sde Boker and see Ben Gurion’s hut and grave overlooking the magnificent Zin valley.
Stop for a camel ride and a visit to an authentic Bedouin tent.
Furthermore, learn about the Bedouin hospitality and enjoy a light lunch.
To conclude the days touring, continue to Hatzerim and visit Israel’s Airforce Museum
Day 11 : Departure

Last breakfast in Israel. To conclude, we will transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for departure back home with lifelong memories.
