Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi

  Upon landing at JKIA Airport, you will be met by a uniformed Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours representative who will then give you a briefing on your upcoming safari. He or she will also introduce you to the guide who will accompany you on safari. You will then make your way to the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi for your overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Nairobi - Samburu

  After breakfast, you will be off to Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at the Samburu Ashnil Camp. After lunch you will go an evening game drive and return for dinner in the late evening.

• Day 3 : Samburu

  Full Day in Samburu with optional visit to the Samburu Cultural Village. Dinner and overnight stay in the same Tented Camp.

• Day 4 : Samburu - Lake Nakuru

  After breakfast you will drive to Lake Nakuru National park, arriving in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. You will have an afternoon game drive in the park. Later you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay

• Day 5 : Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

  After breakfast you will depart for Masai Mara, one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Together with Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This park is home to the annual migration of Thomson's gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Serena Mara, after which you will go on a game drive. Later you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Masai Mara National Reserve

  Full Day in Masai Mara with optinal masai village visit Staying at Mara Serena Lodge

• Day 7 : Masai Mara National Reserve

  Another Full day At Masai Mara with Optional Balloon Ride (@ $ 400 PP) Staying at Mara Serena Lodge

• Day 8 : Masai Mara - Lake Naivasha

  After breakfast you will drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at the luxurious Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge. After lunch, you will spend the rest of the afternoon doing activities around Lake Naivasha .i.e. Hippo Boat Ride, Visit Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary or Game drive in Hell’s Gate National Park. Later, you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at the lodge

• Day 9 : Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

  Have breakfast and then drive to Amboseli National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at Amboseli Serena Lodge for lunch with a game drive en route. Go for an afternoon game drive at 4:00pm and then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Day 10 : Amboseli National Park

  Full day in Amboseli National Park Staying at the same Lodge.

• Day 11 : Amboseli - Mombasa Beach

  After breakfast you will drive to Mombasa. Upon your arrival you will be transferred to the Sarova White Sands Beach Hotel. Check-in and spend the afternoon at your leisure before dinner. Afternoon activities include: swimming in beach, swimming in the pool, beach volleyball, beach tennis ball and others.

• Day 12 : Mombasa Beach

  2 Full Days in Mombasa Beach with optional activities like; A Mamba village visit, A visit to Fort Jesus, A visit to the Gede Ruins, A visit to Wasini Island or Funzi Island, An evening dhow ride etc

• Day 13 : Mombasa Beach

  2 Full Days in Mombasa Beach with optional activities like; A Mamba village visit, A visit to Fort Jesus, A visit to the Gede Ruins, A visit to Wasini Island or Funzi Island, An evening dhow ride etc

• Day 14 : Mombasa Beach - Nairobi

  After eating breakfast and spending the morning relaxing at the beach, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon your arrival in Nairobi you will connect with your flight back home or check in at your preferred hotel in the city.
  
  This itineraries can be fully customized to include your choice of Lodges/ Camps with additional nights and extra light aircraft transfer flights, with optional night drives and bush walks.

  Thanks to Anne and all the team at Amazing Memories Safaris for making our (my son and I) first trip and safari to Kenya a great experience. All the pre-trip itinerary options and selections were done very well; in fact I had initially booked to travel in March, but managed to break my leg in February, so had to change our travel dates to July. Anne reorganised the trip with no problem, finding us accommodation in what was of course an already mostly fully booked peak safari season. Our trip did not get off to the best start as we missed our connection from Europe to Nairobi due to a late incoming flight. Anne reorganised the team to pick us up at the airport very (very) early the morning after our scheduled arrival no problem. The safari part (6 nights: 1 in Treetops, 1 in Lake Nakuru, 4 in Masai Mara) all ran like clockwork, our driver John was excellent as both our guide and driver. All we had to worry about was getting to the hotel receptions each morning and afternoon, where John was always waiting, ready to go. In terms of game sightings, we saw all the Big Five and many other species, including cheetah. In the Masai Mara, we saw 28 lions, including 18 on one day, in 3 different sightings, all very close up. Of course, sometimes it is the luck of the day, but we were very happy with what we saw. While we joined the sightings where many vehicles had already gathered which is normal (for lions, leopard and cheetah - the drivers / guides keep in touch by radio to see where the action is), John also had the patience to look in many areas on our own, away from the main tracks, and this produced a leopard only a few feet from us, which we were able to enjoy by ourselves.
