NGT rules & regulations: National Green Tribunal(NGT) has implemented few restrictions & instructions for every traveller visiting Rohtang Pass which areas follows:
The number of vehicles to Rohtang Pass is restricted to 1200 /- per day, out of which only 800 petrol engine taxis and 400 diesel taxis will be allowed. Due to this restriction customers might have to wait in standby slot.
This cost is not included in the package and customers them selves have to pay the desired amount on the way to Rohtang Pass.
Visit to Rohtang Pass can be on individual/ sharing/ by Deluxe Bus Subject to Availability.
In case of of vehicle not going to Rohtang Pass by any kind of new guidelines proposed by NGT-National green tribunal /Supreme court Classic Expeditions (India) pvt. Ltd will not be responsible in any case. 2-If vehicles will be allowed to go to Rohtang pass the guest will have to bear the expenses on his own if he/she wishes to go to Rohtang pass.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh –Shimla (125Kms)

  Pickup from Chandigarh airport or railway station and drive towards Shimla, have lunch on   the way and check in hotel later on visit Jakhu temple (2455mts.) dedicated to Lord Hanuman or visit Indian Institute of Advanced Studies. In the evening walk the famous shopping mall of Shimla, visit Christ church. Explore Shimla in your own way.

  • Hotspots : Jakhu Temple

• Day 2 : Shimla– Kufri.

  After having breakfast drive to highest hill of Shimla, Jakhu temple (2455mts.) dedicated to Lord Hanuman. drive towards kufri known for winter sports. One can also enjoy horse ride to the top of Mahasu peak and enjoy breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayas. Visit the Himalayan nature park having some of the most endangered species of wild life and pheasants. In the evening walk the famous shopping mall of Shimla, visit Christ church. Explore Shimla in your own way.

  • Hotspots : Kufri, Jakhu Temple

• Day 3 : Shimla – Ghaghas – Sundernagar – Mandi – Pandoh – Kullu – Manali. (260km)

  Start early in the morning to Manali via Mandi, enter into Kullu valley also known as valley of Gods. Reach Manali in the evening and check into your hotel.

• Day 4 : Manali - Solang Valley

  After Breakfast Visit by traveler solangvelly/ in Manali is located at a distance of 13 kms in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purpose. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organised in Solang Valley. Sking and Paragliding are two main activities are organised here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc. Evening time back to hotel. Over Night At Hotel. 

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys, Paragliding, Mountaineering, Skiing, Motor Biking

• Day 5 : Manali Local Sightseeing (30kms)

  After early breakfast in the morning we drive to Vashisht Bath (Hot Sulpher Spring)then drive towards old manali and visit club house, van vihar and tibetian monastery. Then visit 3000years old Hadimba Temple. Have evening free on the mall road.Overnight stay in Hotel in Manali
   

• Day 6 : Manali – Kullu – Mandi – Palampur – Dharamshala – Mecleodganj (235km)

  After early breakfast in the morning start towards Dharamshala (Mecleodganj) through the scenic valleys of Mandi stop for lunch on the way. Reach Dharamshala late afternoon, check in your hotel. In the evening walk through markets of Mecleodganj to the temple of His Highness Dali Lama.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 7 : Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Chamba-Dalhousie (96Kms)

  After breakfast drive towards  Khajjiar is Mini Switzerland of India at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, "Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level". Khajjiar is known as India’s Mini Switzerland. Khajjiar is often reffered to as "Gulmarg of Himachal Pradesh". A little away from the lake is the temple of Khajji Nag belonging to 12th C. AD. In the mandapa of the temple one can see the images of the Pandavas and the defeated Kaurvas hanging from the roof of the circumambulatory path. The sanctum of the temple has been beautifully carved from wood.

• Day 8 : Dalhousie-amritsar

  Amritsar side seeing:-golden temple,bagha border.
   

• Day 9 : Depature

  After early breakfast in the morning start towards Amritsar Railway Station or Airport.

Company Booking Policy:-

• The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into this hotel.


• ID-It is mandatory for guests to present valid photo identification at the time of check-in.


• According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18 staying at the hotel. The identification proofs accepted are Drivers License, Voters ID Card, Passport. Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in. Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.


• The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a'couple' if suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in. Classic Expeditions India Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason.


• Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods e.g. Christmas, New Year's Eve etc... All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel.


• If you don't show up at the hotel, the entire booking amount will be deducted as no-show charges.


• Children below 5 years are complementary in parent’s room without extra bed. (Milk/Food for infant or children below 5 years is chargeable and direct payment in hotel.

Important note:-

• Package can be altered/change as per the customer’s requirement/ interest if possible (subject to availability) Changes in the planned package will be charged directly from the guest.


• We may reschedule the sightseeing days subject to weather conditions & to ensure smooth execution of tours.


• We shall not be responsible for any cancellation of cabs or buses due to bad weather & are not liable for it.


• Extra nights in hotel due to ill health, flight cancellation or any other reason will be chargeable. The service of vehicle is not included on leisure days & after finishing the sightseeing tour as per the itinerary


• Verbal Commitments are not applicable.

Amendments / cancellations:-

• 25% cancellation of the package cost after confirmation/issuing the hotel voucher.


• 30% cancellation of the package cost before 30 days of the travelling date.


• 50% cancellation of the package cost before 15 days of the travelling date.


• 100% cancellations before 10 days of the travels date.


• Advance amount is non-refundable, if the customer cancels his/her booking because of reasons like: Illness, personal problems death, accident or No Shows.


• Also Note that all cancellations must be interacted in written.


• The company has complete authority to change the package costing due to hike in tariff & taxes of hotels, transportation or any other service that has been provided.

Note:-

• Hotels are subject to availability at time of reservation.


• If the base category room will be not available then supplement cost will be applicable for upper category rooms.


• Rates are subject to change, without any prior notice.


• Cancellation & other policies as per the hotel/company rule.


• No cancellation & any refund will be made at any cost in case of bad weather or land slide or any destination and which is beyond the control of the agent/hotel.


• Above policy may vary during peak season and any changes will be communicated prior to confirmation.


• No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road Blocks or any other factor beyond our Control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Remarks:-

• The rates are subjects to change without any prior notice.


• Accommodation in the Itinerary at the mentioned hotels or the similar hotels.


• The confirmation is subjects to availability.


• The AC will not work in Hill stations.


• No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service due to Bad weather, ill health, Strike, Road Blocks or any other factor beyond our Control. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Payment Policy:-

• For Package conformation you need to deposit a 25% of the total package cost as a 1st token.


• 75% of the total package cost, guest need to deposit before on their arrival in companies current bank account.


• Balance amount will be paid by the guest at our office in Shimla or to our representative at Manali . (Please do mail the screenshot of the mode of advance payment).


• In the case of an NEFT/RTGS/ Online Transfer no transfer charge will be levied.


• IF payment made through using companies direct payment link by Credit Card, an additional surcharge of 2.5% will be charged extra over the NET payable amount.


• IF payment made through using companies direct payment link by Debit Card, an additional surcharge of 1% will be charged extra over the NET payable amount.
