Let us take you on a nice HORSE RIDING trip on the green countryside, under stunning Karavanke mountain range and right into a hidden beauty of Zavrsnica valley.

Trip starts from a simple country style farm stables located in a village only 10 minutes drive from Bled.

Usually we run 2 hours long horse riding trips for small groups from 1 and up to 6 guests.

We usually try to never mix different skilled riders. In case of mixed group – more experienced riders need to adjust the pace to the least experienced riders.

Most of our guests like it, but some first-timers, who think horse riding is as easy as it looks in Western movies, don’t have so much fun, since it’s quite a bumpy and slow stroll on quiet horses. :) We don’t want to scare you, but just a little word of what to expect, if you are beginners and have never been horseback riding before. :)

• Other restrictions: Not suitable for pregnant women.
• MEETING POINT & DEPARTURE TIME
• Horse riding tour departs from our 3glav Adventures office, located in the very center of Bled, right opposite main Post office. Meeting location is within a reach of 5-10 minutes walking distance from pretty much most accommodation options in Bled town:

• Horse riding tour departs at designated time and it’s recommended to be at meeting point no earlier than 5 minutes before departure and no later than exact departure time.

• A little introduction and little words of warning around horse-riding tours for all our future potential guests. :)
• We run nice cross-country horseback riding trips in the area of Bled – we start from our office located in the very center of Bled and take you to farm/country style stables (nothing fancy) located 10-15 minutes drive away on the countryside under the beautiful Karavanke mountain range.
• Given the fact, that our horse stables are located around amazing countryside and are operated by educated horse riding instructor and trainer Dušan and all other genuine countryside farmers offer our guests pristine local countryside/village experience including all people involved around the horse stables and tour. Meaning that these people are genuine and friendly, but sometimes not as communicative and excessively overwhelming-friendly what is nowadays expected by modern traveler standards, they are just original. :)
• You might also encounter unleashed young German Shepherd Jack around the horse stables or even an orphan brown bear Jaka who was found very young without his bear mom and rescued from wilderness where he wouldn’t survive. And is now under protection and care of nearby mountain hut where we pass while riding. We have agreement with our horse instructor Dušan and his team not to stop at the bear, but sometimes they do. :)
• You can also easily reject tasting of home-brewed blubbery schnapps if you don’t like or drink alcohol. Nobody will be offended, it’s just one of our Slovenian traditional drinks on the countryside – it tastes nice and sweet.
• Horses are animals – with their own mind – so even if trained and well taken care of they can still sometimes behave different than expected and their sudden moves or jumps can throw rider off the saddle or cause any other unexpected situations.
• We really don’t want to scare you away from this activity, as the very same horse riding stables/team has helped our 3glav Adventures general 5*stars reputation ever since 2004, but just a little introduction of what to expect.
• All you need for horse riding trip are long pants/trousers (jeans are best) and sporty shoes hiking boots and maybe a jacket in case it gets a bit colder. We provide helmets.
• Please consider all facts and info written above if you expected more fancy/posh horse riding experience (stables, guides and tour) at the time of your booking process.
• EXTRA DETAILS
• Operated in basic English language only.
• Weather conditions are very unpredictable in our mountainous region of Bled, Triglav National Park and Julian Alps, Slovenia. Most of weather forecasts (especially on mobile devices) show low levels of accuracy.
• We reserve the right to change the schedule without previous announcement if it comes to traffic delays and road blocks or other unpredictable situations. 3glav d.o.o. will not accept responsibility caused by the change of the schedule beyond the organizers control.
• All our tours and adventures including horseback riding trip don’t have any kind of firm or certain routes outlined and itinerary/schedule are made by our local, English speaking, experienced, professional guides who decide spontaneously according to the weather, road, trail and other conditions, type of the group and special events in order to provide safest and most fun experience available for each day.
• Places for all our tours might be out of stock even they were marked as available at the time you finalized your booking due to unexpectedly high demand or booking system errors. At those rare occurrences we reserve the right to cancel your booking and you will be offered an alternate date or a full refund.
• We are specialized in summer outdoor activities and adventures for individual travelers and smaller groups.
• Our guides/instructors/pilots/drivers are your friends and are all happy to answer any kind of questions regarding your personal interest or concerns involving our area or particular tour.
• Everyone is always welcome to express their requests or any further questions they might have at any time – before booking, during or after our activities as we’ll be more than happy to answer, help and try to meet all needs.
• We run all our tours, activities and adventures in Slovenia by Slovenian/EU standards, which might interfere with some other cultural and religious differences/views. Please consider this fact before joining our activities.
