Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi

  Arrival at Delhi international airport. Clear immigration and visa formalities, collect your baggage and Lotus India Holidays representative will meet you with a placard. Transfer to hotel and check in. Overnight. (No Meals)
• Day 2 : Delhi

  Morning after breakfast full day city tour of Delhi, tour starts with Old Delhi drive past of Red Fort. Visit the Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India. Later take a Rickshaw ride through the narrow lanes of Chandni Chowk. Afternoon visit New Delhi, which will include photo stop at- Parliament House, India Gate and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb, one of the best examples of a Mughal Garden Tomb. Later visit Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret.

• Day 3 : Delhi - Jaipur

  Morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Jaipur. Check in at a hotel on arrival at Jaipur. Enjoy an afternoon sightseeing city tour of Jaipur. Visit the famous City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal. Later proceed to the famous Chokhi Dani- a Village Theme Restaurant - to enjoy your dinner and get a first-hand experience of the village life of Rajasthan.

• Day 4 : Jaipur - Agra

  Morning after breakfast, enjoy a morning excursion to the famous Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride up to the Fort. Then drive to Agra. En-route visit the historical town of Fatehpur Sikri. Bulund Darwaza, the largest gateway in the world is the main attraction of the town.

• Day 5 : Agra

  Morning after breakfast, Full day a sightseeing in Agra. Visit the Taj Mahal, probably the most beautiful monument in the world. Taj Mahal, a symbol of love and romance, was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jehan in the loving memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Later in the day visit the magnificent and majestic Agra Fort. After Agra Fort we visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud- Daulah. This building is also called the Baby Taj because its interiors are decorated in a manner similar to the Taj Mahal and some consider its decorations to be even better than the designs on the walls of the Taj Mahal.

• Day 6 : Agra - Gwalior - Orchha

  Morning after breakfast drive to Gwalior, proceed for sightseeing tour of Gwalior known for its spectacular hilltop citadel. Within walls lie Jain statues, Rajput Palaces, Hindu temples and a Victorian school. Later drive to Orchha, a historical site with magnificent temples and monuments. Some of the palaces were decorated with painted murals which represent the finest flowering of the Bundela school of painting.

• Day 7 : Orchha - Khajuraho

  Morning after breakfast drive to Khajuraho. Khajuraho- the legendary temples of Khajuraho are an incomparable experience. Acknowledged as one of the world’s artistic wonders, these temples dedicated to the Hindu pantheon of Gods are covered in carvings that are a paean to life and love. Built within a short span of a hundred years by the Chandela Rajputs, the 10th century temples lay forgotten until they were discovered in the present century. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures.

  Early morning sunrise boat ride on river Ganges. After breakfast, proceed for morning city tour of Varanasi visiting various temples. Afternoon excursion to Sarnath visiting Sarnath museum, having Buddhist relics and antiques (Museum is closed on Friday).

• Day 11 : Varanasi - Kushinagar

  Morning after breakfast drive to Kushinagar. Kushinagar is situated in Deoria district of eastern Uttar Pradesh, Kushinagar was a small town in the days of the Buddha. But it became famous when the Buddha died here, on his way from Rajgir to Shravasti. His last memorable words were, All composite things decay. Strive diligently. This event is known as the Final Blowing-Out(Parinirvana) in Buddhist parlance.

• Day 12 : Kushinagar - Lumbini

  Morning after Breakfast Drive to Lumbini. Lumbini is the place Lord Buddha -the apostle of peace and the light of Asia was born in 623 B. C., Located in the flat plains of south-Western Nepal and the foothills of Churia range, Lumbini and its surrounding area is endowed with a rich natural setting of domestic able fauna and favourable agricultural environ. Historically, the region is an exquisite treasure-trove of ancient ruins and antiquities, dating back to pre-Christian era. The site, described as a beautiful garden in the Buddha’s time still retain its legendary charm and beauty. To the mere 12 miles north of Lumbini lies the dense and picturesque sal-grove.

  Morning after breakfast drive to Chitwan National Park . Royal Chitwan National Park is Nepal’s first and most famous national park is situated in the Chitwan Doon or the lowlands of the inner Terai. A fifth of the park is made up of the floodplains of the Narayani, Rapti and the Reu Rivers and is covered by dense tall Elephant grass interspersed with revenine forests of silk cotton (Kapok), Acacia and Sisam trees. and evening back hotel.
