Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guwahati – Kaziranga

  On arrival at Guwahati Receive and assisted to Kaziranga National Park (220kms/05hrs). It is the home to more than 80% of world’s Rhino population. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kaziranga
• Day 2 : Kaziranga – Kohima

  Early morning Elephant ride (5.30-6.30 a.m./6.30 -7.30 a.m.) in the Central range. Back to resort for breakfast and drive to Kohima (215 kms/ 06 hrs) – the Capital of Nagaland. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Kohima.
• Day 3 : Kohima

  After breakfast full day at Kisema Hornbill festival ground. In this festival all the sixteen tribes of Nagaland come together in one roof to exhibits their traditions, culture and lifestyle. Every year the festival is celebrated from 1st of Dec for a week. The highlight of this festival is mainly the colourfully dressed tribe, their dances and songs, traditional food stalls, sport activities and the traditional Naga huts. Evening at leisure.Overnight at Kohima.
• Day 4 : Kohima

  Full day at festival ground. Afternoon visit villages near Kisema – it is a Naga Heritage Village, which comprises of a number of beautifully-built traditional houses and Khonoma village. Overnight at Kohima.
• Day 5 : Kohima – Mokokchung

  Today you proceed to Mokokchung (167 kms/07hrs) – located at an altitude of 1325 meters above sea level, this picturesque town is the cultural center of the Ao tribes. The Ao Nagas is famous for their colourful dances. Afternoon village visit. Overnight at Mokokchung.
• Day 6 : Mokokchung

  Today will explore Longkhum – a vanguard village of the days of head hunting is situated at an altitude of 1846 meters and is 17km from Mokokchung town. Afternoon visit Ungma village – the biggest Ao. According to legend, the early Aos settled here first after coming from Chungliyimti. Overnight at Mokokchung.
• Day 7 : Mokokchung – Jorhat

  After a leisurely breakfast drive to Jorhat (110km/04hrs). On arrival at Jorhat proceed to see tocklai tea research centre – The formation of the Tea Research Association (TRA) in 1964 with Tocklai at the centre of all further expanded the horizon of tea research to cover the entire Northeast India. Research on all aspects of tea cultivation and processing is carried out at Tocklai Experimental station, Jorhat the oldest and the largest research station of its kind in the world.Enjoy your stay at Tea planter’s bungalow. Evening walk around the tea garden. Overnight at Jorhat.
• Day 8 : Jorhat – Fly

  Your last day at Northeast India. After breakfast drive to Jorhat Airport for your onward destination. Tour concludes on arrival at the Airport.
