Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Pick - Up from the Jaisalmer

  Your tour starts with the pick-up from the Jaisalmer train station at 11:30 am. You have the opportunity for a shower and some sightseeing before departing at 2:00 pm (October to March) or 3:00 pm (April to September) by jeep to the campsite, 60 km outside of Jaisalmer.
  
  3:00 (4:00) pm to 6:00 pm – During the afternoon camel ride you can visit some Dhanis (small villages), arriving at the sand dunes in time to watch the beautiful sunset.
  
  After your experiences of the desert you can enjoy watching your delicious dinner being freshly prepared for you over the camp fire and you will conclude your first day with the dreams of the desert while sleeping under the star studded sky on your clean bed roll.
• Day 2 : Adventurous

  Get the real feel of sunrise, served with your breakfast, after which your adventurous tour continues with visits to villages and sand dunes (from Day 2 on any visits to villages are optional according to the wishes of the group; alternatively, the group can choose to enjoy the desert wild life and natural countryside with its peaceful quietness).
  
  8:00 am to 12:00 noon – You will get an impression of the desert environment and vegetation as well as the mysterious creatures on the sand while riding your camel and the safari also calls at some small villages if you wish.
  
  12:00 noon to 3:00 pm - Lunch followed by rest in the shade of trees as the sun is fierce.
  
  3:00 pm to 5:00 pm - The next destinations of the camel safari are Unda village (a traditional Rajput village) and the beautiful Unda sand dunes.

  We stop to watch another stunning sunset on the way and after your second day’s encounter with the desert you can again enjoy watching the preparation of your mouth-watering dinner over the camp fire. Sleeping beneath the clear starry sky on your bedroll you are bound to have more dreams of the desert.

• Day 3 : Camel Ride

  8:00 am to 11:00 am - After sunrise and breakfast another camel ride, then transfer back to Jaisalmer by Jeep for 12 noon. You will again have the opportunity for a shower and some more sightseeing before your departure at 4.40 pm.
  
  There are facilities available free of charge to leave your luggage during the safari.
