Day 1 : Yangon Arrival
Depend on your international flight arrival, start with visit to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda with colossal reclining Buddha. And then visit to Bogyoke Market (Scott Market) which is the best place for shopping city. Transfer to hotel check in and at noon walk around Sule Pagoda, City Hall and see many colonial buildings. Enjoy sunset at Shwedagon Pagoda, have been built over 2,600 years ago, its golden stupa is the Landmark of Myanmar people. It is always full of local people praying and make offerings, and a fascinating place to spend time watching the world go by. Have dinner at Karaweik Barge watching culture show. Transfer to hotel and stay overnight at Yangon.
Day 2 : Yangon - Bagan
After breakfast at hotel, pick up from your hotel and transfer for early morning flight around 6:00 am to Bagan, an ancient capital of Myanmar, has many important pagodas and temples to visit. On arrival Bagan, check in at hotel and this morning you have time to explore the Myingaba village area by horse cart. First, visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stucco work. Continue to Nanpaya temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said to have once been King
Manuha’s residence. See the huge Buddha images in Manuha Pagoda and later, visit 11th century
Pyatsashwegu, showing frescoes with ancient Mon captions on the interior walls. Stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar’s ‘Rosetta Stone’, bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 3 : Bagan
(You will get a life time experience with early balloons ride at 5:30 am-Optional) Enjoy sunrise at
Shwe San Daw Pagoda. Breakfast at hotel, today sightseeing tour starting with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of the most important pagodas and temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century. See 13th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha ‘Cave’ Temple. Continue to Gubyaukgyi
(Wetkyi In village), another ‘cave’ temple with fine frescoes of the ‘Jataka Tales’. Next stop is
Htilominlo, the last Burma style temple built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes. Visit the Taungphi village to see old monasteries, which have beautiful Khone Baung dynasty frescoes.
After noon at Leisure, continue visit to Ananda Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery from the early Bagan era with well-preserved murals. Make a photo stop at the tallest temple measuring 61meters - Thatbyinnyu. Continue to Mingalazedi, the last of the large Pagodas, built in the 13th Century, representing the pinnacle of Burma pagoda architecture. Enjoy sunset at Pyathatgyi Temple along Ayeyarwady River and stay overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day 4 : Bagan - Mandalay
After breakfast at hotel, pick up from your hotel and transfer to Nyaung Oo airport for flight to Mandalay. On arrival Mandalay, visit Mahauni Pagoda, home to a spectacular Buddha image covered with thick layers of gold leaves. Stop at local workshops to see Kalaga tapestries being made, gold leaf being beaten into paper-thin pieces. From here, we go to Kuthodaw Pagoda, where the Theravada Buddhist scriptures are inscribed on 729 marble slabs with the name ‘the world’s largest book’. And then drive to Amarapura, visit MAHAGANDAYON, very famous Buddhist monastery in mandalay where can study thousand monks of daily life. And continue to over 200 - year old U Bein teak bridge (1.2 Km long) across Taung Tha Man Lake, built in 1782 at the time when Amarapura was the royal capital. Transfer back to Mandalay and next visit beautiful teak-carved Shwenandaw Monastery, the only Royal Palace building to survive World War II bombing. And then continue to Mandalay Hill where you can see the sunset and the panoramic view of the Mandalay city. Transfer back to hotel for free at leisure and stay overnight.
Day 5 : Mandalay Departure
After breakfast, free at leisure at hotel. And then our driver will pick up and transfer to Mandalay International Airport and connect your international flight departure.
