Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Boat Tour to the Uros Islands and Amantani Island

  We pick you up at your hotel at 7.30 a.m to drive to the port, from where we leave at 8 a.m. After 40 minutes we reach the floating Uros. Islands where we have a 45 minute stop for a visit. Afterwards we continue to Amantani Island, arriving at the Island for lunch. We are accomodated in family houses. Later we go on a walk to the highest point of the island from where we enjoy a breathtaking view over the lake. At night a ceremony for the Mother Earth (Pachamama) is held, later we have dinner. Overnight in basic rooms in family houses.

• Day 2 : Visit to Taquile Island and Return to Puno

  After an early breakfast we leave at 8 a.m. for the one hour journey to Taquile Island. We have about 4 hours to visit the market and the Plaza de Armas of taquile and to see some of the typical local textiles. In the afternoon we return to Puno where we arrive around 4:30 p.m. and take our transfer to the hotel.
