Murano is the closest island to Venice town and is famous for its glassmaking industry, with pieces known for its particular colors
and exquisite chandeliers. Visit a typical glass factory and watch a "maestro" working on an artistic glass piece.
The most beautiful and interesting island is Burano. See all the fishermen's houses painted in pastel colors and examine their
famous hand-made lace as you visit one of the lace shops of the island. Make sure you have your camera ready because you
would not want to miss a photo opportunity in this unique island.
Torcello is situated just behind Burano. This small island is famous for its cathedral with spectacular Byzantine gold and stone
mosaics. Explore this small yet magical island and find peace as you walk around its ancient monuments and the Ponticello del
Diavolo (Devil's Little Bridge), a term given to ancient bridges believed to be constructed either with the help of the Devil or
against the wishes of the Devil.
2. Go on a romantic "promenade" by gondola that will take you along the canals of Venice, one of the most important tourist
destinations in the world, due to the city being one of the world's greatest and most beautiful cities of art. Enjoy the cruise through
the city's most secluded waterways, passing under small bridges and also along part of Grand Canal.
The tour departs from Campo San Moise. We pass along the "Barcaroli Canal," where you will cross "Amadeus Mozart's Home."
We proceed right and enter the "Scoacamini Canal," past the home of Goethe looking beyond the rooftops of the majestic
Palaces. This is the only canal in Venice where you can admire St. Mark's Bell Tower!
It is at this point that we meander into the most important canal in Venice, "The Grand Canal." On its right is "Rialto Bridge," the
most famous bridge in Venice, completed in 1590. For a period, we'll travel along the "Grand Canal" seeing many of its
spectacular Palaces up close: Ca Dolfin (Manin Palace), Ca Loredan, Ca Farsetti, Grimani Palace and Papadopoli Palace.
Moving along, we pass Campo Daniele Manin, where once the Doge resided and where we will find his statue. The tour finishes
