Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi to Jaipur (approx 270 km / 6 hrs)

  Start from Delhi in the morning and drive to Jaipur. Founded in AD 1727 by Sawai Jaisingh II, Jaipur the capital of Rajasthan is popularly known as the Pink City with broad avenues and spacious gardens. The capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is steeped in history and culture. Here the past comes alive in magnificent forts and palaces, blushed pink, where once lived the maharajas. The bustling bazaars of Jaipur, famous for Rajasthani jewellery, fabric and shoes, possess a timeless quality and are surely a treasure-trove for the shoppers. This fascinating city with its romantic charm takes you to an epoch of royalty and tradition. On arrival, check in to the hotel. After some rest, visit local market. Later enjoy New Year festivities at your hotel/resort.

• Day 2 : Jaipur – Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit Birla temple, Nahargarh Fort (sunset view over city). In evening, visit Chokhi Dhani (optional) a five star ethnic village resort for an exquisite Rajasthani traditional dinner with dance and music (entry on your own). You can use this day to visit nearby attractions such as Abhaneri, Sambhar Lake, Ajmer or Pushkar. Overnight stay at Jaipur hotel.

• Day 3 : Jaipur – Local Sightseeing

  After breakfast at hotel, proceed for local sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Today we will cover major city attractions covering Amber Fort. Feel like a maharaja from the past as you ride up to Amber Fort on an elephant outfitted with traditional Indian draperies. See the largest cannon on wheels in the world, and old cannon foundry at Jaigarh. Visit Kanak Vrindavan Temple in the valley of flowers. Drive through the Johari Bazaar or the old jeweler's market to Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Visit the various museums inside the City Palace and the ancient observatory, Jantar Mantar. Evening free for your independent activities. You can attend light and sound show at Amber Fort in the evening. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 4 : Jaipur – Delhi (approx 270 km / 6 hrs)

  After breakfast in the morning, check out from the hotel and visit Sanganer or Bagru Towns (optional), famous for their block prints. Afternoon free for shopping or your own activities. Later drive back to Delhi
