As the largest Free literary festival on earth, the Jaipur Literature Festival brings together some of the greatest thinkers and writers from across South Asia and the world. From Nobel laureates to local language writers, Man Booker prize winners to debut novelists, every January the most remarkable, witty, sensitive and brilliant collection of authors come together for five days of readings, debates and discussions at the beautiful Diggi Palace in the Rajasthan capital. JLF, which began in 2006, is now regarded as a cultural catalyst within India and around the world, exposing audiences to a constant flow of ideas. Featuring live music sessions and interactive workshops, the Festival provides a space to dare, dream and imagine. Equity and democracy run through the Festival’s veins, placing some of the world’s greatest minds, humanitarians, historians, politicians, business leaders, sports people and entertainers from all walks of life together on stage. JLF provides a potentially life-changing opportunity for audiences from Rajasthan, across India and the world to learn from and exchange ideas with contemporary literary stalwarts.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : 14 JAN 2018 (SUN) ARRIVAL DELHI

  Arrival at Delhi airport where you will have traditional welcome and then transferred to your hotel

• Day 2 : 15 JAN 2018 (MON) DELHI

  After breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. Drive past Red fort and stop for a visit of Jama masjid followed by a cycle rickshaw ride in Old Delhi. Continue to Lutyens Delhi, drive past the President’s Palace, Secretariat Buildings, Parliament House and the India Gate. Visit Qutab Minar & Humayun Tomb, the 1st great example of Mughal architecture in India. Overnight at Hotel
• Day 3 : 16 JAN 2018 (TUE) DELHI-AMRITSAR

  Board morning Shatabdi express to Amritsar, an important seat of Sikh history and culture. Meet upon arrival at Amritsar railway station and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Hotel
• Day 4 : 17 JAN 2018 (WED) AMRITSAR

  Proceed for sightseeing visiting The Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh. Afternoon, excursion to The Wagah border (India-Pakistan border). Overnight at Hotel
• Day 5 : 18 JAN 2018 (THU) AMRITSAR-UDAIPUR (Via Delhi)

  Transfer to airport and board flight to Udaipur via Delhi. Meet upon arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel
• Day 6 : 19 JAN 2018 (FRI) UDAIPUR

  Proceed for half-day tour of Udaipur visiting City palace, Jagdish temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari.
  Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Pichola in the afternoon. Overnight at Hotel

  Drive to Jodhpur visiting Ranakpur en-route. Arrival and check-in at Hotel. Overnight at Hotel

  Sightseeing tour of Jodhpur visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada. Overnight at THE RAAS

  Ride an Elephant to ascend up to Amber fort in the morning for a visit. Later continue with City tour of Jaipur visiting City palace, Palace of winds & Observatory. Overnight at Hotel
