Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Jalandhar - Dehradun and Haridwar

  First we will move to dehradun from jalandhar. Here we visit famous Darbar Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji which is situated in the heart of Dehradun city is a magnificent monument of great historical and religious significance. In fact, the city of Dehradun itself derives its name from the historical fact that Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji, the eldest son of the Seventh Sikh Guru Har Rai Ji, set up his "dera" (camp) in "dun" (valley) in 1676. This 'Dera' 'Dun' later on became Dehradun . In the evening go to haridwar where you can visit various temples across the town. Then proceed to Har ki Pauri the ghat of the cool water of the River Ganga

  Local attractions can be visited at any time of the day, be it early morning, Ghat, Parad Shivling, Maya Devi Temple, Har Ki Pauri, one of the most famous places in Haridwar, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir etc and many more.

• Day 3 : Early Morning drive from Haridwar to Neelkanth mahadev

  Neelkanth temple which is one of the most sacred place of worship for the Hindus. It is located on a hill above Swargashram in Rishikesh and is situated at a altitude of 925 mts.
  Neelkanth Mahadev Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is believed to be the most complex Gods of the Hindu pantheon. The establishment of this temple has a legend behind it. According to the mythological stories, Lord Shiva drank the poison that appeared from the 'Sagar Manthan' (churning of ocean). This place is said to have been the same place, where Lord Shiva drank the poison. On drinking the poison, his throat turned blue and from that time onwards, Lord Shiva came to be known as 'Neelkantha' (One having blue throat).
  The temple observes two fairs that held annually on the occasion of Shivratri (Feb-Mar) and Shivratri of Shravan (July-Aug). At that time, the temple is thronged by thousands of pilgrims. This place is also loved by tourists for its picturesque beauty. Neelkanth Temple is a holy place that provides a celestial affection to the people, who visit the shrine with a devoted heart.
  Rishikesh.
  On the way from neelkanth mahadev to haridwar we will also visit Rishikesh. Known as the ‘Abode of Sages’, this little town is situated at the confluence of rivers Chandrabhaga and Ganga. Rishikesh is also the point of origin for the Char Dham Yatra. Now, the town is also popular for yoga and meditation enthusiasts.
