Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Home Town - Jammu - Patnitop

  On arrival at Jammu Railway Station/airport proceed for Patnitop. 4/5 hours drive from Jammu. Check into Hotel.Evening free for Leisure activities. Stay overnight in Patnitop.
  
  Patnitop: 112kms from Jammu, this famous hill resort is perched on a beautiful plateau, at an altitude of 2024metres across which the Jammu-Srinagar Highway passes. Enveloped by thickly wooded forests, Patnitop offers beautiful picnic spots, peaceful walks and breathtaking views of the of the Chenab basin.
• Day 2 : Patnitop - Srinagar

  After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing at Patnitop then proceed to Srinagar, 4/5 hrs drive will take you to Srinagar.
  
  On arrival check into houseboat and relax. Enjoy shikara ride in the evening at Dal Lake -The urban lake, which is the second largest in the state and is named the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir". Houseboats and the Dal Lake are widely associated with Srinigar and are nicknamed "floating palaces", built according to British customs. The houseboats are generally made from local cedar-wood and measure 24-38metres in length and 3-6 metres in width and are graded in a similar fashion to hotels according to level of comfort. Many of them have lavishly furnished rooms, with verandas and a terrace to serve as a sun-deck. Each houseboat has an exclusive shikara for ferrying guests to the shore.
  
  A shikara is small paddled taxi boat, often about 15 feet (4.6 m) long) and made of wood with a canopy and a spade shaped bottom. It is the cultural symbol of Kashmir and is used not only for ferrying visitors but is also used for the vending of fruits, vegetables and flowers and for the fishing and harvesting of aquatic vegetation. All gardens in the Lake Periphery and houseboats anchored in the lake are approachable through shikaras. Enjoy overnight stay in the houseboat.
• Day 3 : Srinagar Local Sightseeing

  Today check out from houseboat and visit to famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat (Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar (Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City, in route visit handloom centers famous for production of Pashmina/Shahtoos shawls & world over reckoned Carpets, Shankaracharya Temple, evening return back to Hotel for overnight stay.
• Day 4 : Srinagar - Gulmarg

  After breakfast, check out of the houseboat at Srinagar and proceed to Gulmarg. Gulmarg is located at an average elevation of 2,690 m (8,825 ft). Spend the day witnessing the picturesque locales like the Golf Course (Golf kit and caddy charges optional & extra). Also take the exhilarating cable car ride to Khilanmarg Snow Point (Gondola ride up to Khilanmarg is not included in the package and Gondola ride strongly depends on weather conditions). Drive back to Srinagar and stay.
• Day 5 : Srinagar - Sonmarg

  After breakfast, excursion to Sonmarg, situated at a height of 2740 meters (82kms /3 hours one way). One can enjoy sightseeing to Thajiwas Glacier or other sightseeing points. Return to Srinagar after your excursion. In the evening, enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
• Day 6 : Srinagar - Pahalgam

  After breakfast, full day excursion tour to Pahalgam 96kms. In the south-east of Srinagar situated at an altitude of 2130 mts. above sea level. It is Kashmir’s most popular resort surrounded by high mountains , dense forests, high mountain altitude lakes , it also offers 9 hole golf course, Skiing, pony trails, Angling,(rainbow & brown trout’s) horse riding, trekking (both hard & soft) & various places of interest in & around like Aru valley, Lidderwat valley, Kolhai Glacier, Shesh Nag, Chandanwari(route to Amaranth ji Holy cave), Baisam & Mamil famous for 9thcentury old(Shiva Temple) Thus happens to be a preferred spot among domestic tourist. In the evening return back to Hotel for overnight stay in Srinagar.

• Day 7 : Srinagar - Katra

  Leave early in the morning 6/7hrs drive to Katra and check in at a hotel.Evening free for leisure.
• Day 8 : Katra - Vaishno Devi

  After an early breakfast start your yatra to Vaishno Devi Temple by Helicopter/dhandi/Poney. After pooja / darshan start your journey back to the Hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
• Day 9 : Katra - Vaishno Devi

  After breakfast, Proceed as per your further journey schedule towards your home town.
