One of the best delicacies in Jammu is desi ghee patisa, but that is a dessert. For mains, you can munch on the famous Aloo Dum, the specialty Rajma, and not forget the evergreen Kashmiri Pulao.

There are a lot of varieties of foods as well. There are fusions, local specialties, adaptations, and so on. For example – The Kashmiri Rajma. Rajma is loved throughout the nation, but Kashmiri Rajma has a touch of the local chef and, therefore, is considered a specialty of J&K.

There is also a local dish called Lotus Root Kebab (Nadru ke kebab). This is a local delicacy and is best eaten with green chutney.

For pure non-vegetarians out there – Tabak Maaz (Fried Lamb Ribs), a local delicacy perfected by a blend of spices and desi ingredients.
