Jawahar is a known as the Mahabaleshwar of Thane. Jawahar is home of many small and large waterfalls and well known as natural habitat of Worli tribles. Jawahar is famous for its vibrant Warli pantings. Warli paintings were made of rice paste and used to decorate huts. It is told that Jawahar was used as a base camp by Chhatrapati Shivaji during his Sural visit. Trackers can track here and any one can purchase Warli paintings here. The themes of paintings was mostly village life. The attractions at Jawahar are Kalmandvi Waterfall, Jaivilas Palace, Khadkhad Dam, Jai Sagar Dam, Hanuman Point, Dabosa Water Fall and many more places.
Jaivilas Palace was built by Raje Yashwant Rao Maukne and Also known as Raj Bari. The palace shows vision, culture and lifestyle of tribal kings.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Mumbai - Jawahar

  Meet & Greet by representative on arrival at Mumbai Railway Station / Airport & transfer to Jawahar. On arrival check into hotel at Jawahar. After refresh, explore Jawahar. Visit Jaivilas Palace, Kalmandvi Waterfall, Khadkhad Dam, ShirpaMal and Sunset Point. Stay overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : In Jawahar

  After breakfast, visit Dabosa Water Fall, Hanuman Point and Bhopatgad Fort. Explore Bhopatgad Fort. Later transfer to Mumbai from Jawahar.
