Get off the beaten paths with this guided jeep tour and explore the fascinating home of Dracula by 4×4. In the heart of Transylvania you can leave all the noise and bustle behind and step into another world. On this journey you will discover some of the best kept secrets of Dracula’s land: unspoiled nature, a well preserved cultural heritage, animals in their natural habitat, wild and amazing landscapes over Carpathian Mountains and the most visited castle in Romania.

Each 4×4 vehicle is driven by one 4×4 Tours team driver/guide and can travel:

3 more people in maximum comfortable conditions
or 4 more people in less comfortable conditions (3 people on the back seat)Flights to/from Bucharest – Romania
Lunch can be arranged as nature picnic lunch or in a restaurant on the route – about 13 EUR/person
One more overnight for resting in Bucharest, accommodation with breakfast in 4* hotel and dinner in Old Center and transfer to airport in next morning – 85 EUR/120 EUR per person in double/single occupancy

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Bucharest - Bucegi Mountains

  Welcome to Romania! Pick you up from airport and transfer by jeeps to the Carpathians Mountains. Start off road driving up to Bucegi Natural Park, one of the most visited natural wonders and national parks in Romania. Explore the beautiful surroundings of the Bolboci Lake, named ”The sea of Bucegi” and Scropoasa Lake, a transparent gem located in Ialomita Valley. Continue our jeep tour to Podu cu Florile Peak with scenic mountain view.

• Day 2 : Azuga Valley - Sinca Veche Monastery - Poiana Marului

  After breakfast take a relaxing drive experience on Azuga Valley. Continue to drive towards Sinca Veche cave Monastery, also named “Temple of Wishes” After lunch at beautiful trout farm, we will explore the beauty of Poiana Marului area with spectacular views over Piatra Craiului Mountains. In the evening we arrive at our accommodation in Poiana Marului for delicious traditional dinner and overnight rest.

• Day 3 : Zarnesti Canyon - Traditional Villages - Bran Castle - Poiana Brasov

  Drive on road to Zarnesti, enjoy a short walking through Canyon of Zarnesti and breathing the fresh mountain air in the scenery of “Cold Mountain” movie. Drive off road through the rolling hills of Magura and Pestera villages and discover some of the best breathtaking views in Romania. These are traditional and picturesque mountains villages which reveal the pastoral way of life of the Transylvanian shepherds. Visit the legendary Bran (Dracula’s) Castle, known as the home of Dracula`s spirit. Continue off road experience to Fundatica, the highest traditional village from Romania. The jeep tour continues on Key Valley route and offers you the opportunity to enjoy zipline. In the evening, arrive in Poiana Brasov for overnight.

• Day 4 : Diham Cottage - Brasov

  Take the challenging off road trip to Diham Cottage with amazing view of Bucegi Mountains Ridge. Enjoy spectacular peaks and gorgeous scenery of Bucegi Mountains which are the most visited range in Romania. Then drive to Brasov and enjoy a walking tour through the old town with the famous Black Church (the largest Gothic construction in Eastern part of Europe).The old town is one of the best preserved old towns in Europe with splendid architecture and old fortifications. The city has an amazing history with influences from Germany, the Austria-Hungarian Empire and the old communist state. Return at the hotel in Poiana Brasov.

• Day 5 : Poiana Brasov - Sinaia - Bucharest

  After breakfast, drive to Sinaia and visit the impressive Peles Castle- the former summer residence of the Romanian royal couple, considered one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. Peles Castle is the first electrified castle in Europe, built in neo-renascentist German Style. We leave the amazing landscapes over Carpathians and arrive in Bucharest. Transfer to airport in time for your return flight.
