Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kigali Airport

  Arrive at Kigali airport where you will be met and transferred to your luxury hotel. Safari briefing on arrival.

• Day 2 : Virunga Park

  Drive north through the terraced hills of Rwanda, the Switzerland of Africa, towards the Virunga volcanoes range with late afternoon arrival at your safari lodge.

• Day 3 : Virunga Park

  Early breakfast and depart with your tracker and guide to the Volcanoes National Park in search of the magnificent mountain gorilla. The trek through the light mountain forest will depend on the location of the gorilla family but you will spend quality time within close proximity to the gorilla family. Your tracker and guide will also explain other flora and fauna in the rainforest. Return to your lodge for a late lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

• Day 4 : Departure

  Return to Kigali this morning and if time permits visit a local market and cultural centre before your transfer to Kigali airport for your flight.
