Organizing Trek:
As this sacred place happens to be located in absolute remoteness a visit for mankind was something of a dream in the past. Now the dream has turned into reality by making it possible to reach there due to the net work of motorable roads and major highways. Adventure begins with a sweeping panoramic flight over the magnificent Himalayas to Lhasa - the capital city of Tibet or drive straight from Kathmandu to Zangmu, the borderland of Tibet. From here a drive in a 4 wheel power Land Cruiser will take us to the holy Lake Mansorover and Mt. Kailash for the pilgrimage circumambulation and to achieve our ultimate spiritual goal before returning back to Kathmandu.Air ticket to Kathmandu & return.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival

Arrival at Kathmandu. Our representative will meet you at the airport & transfer to Hotel. Evening Dinner + Tour briefing.

Day 2 : Sightseeing Tour In Kathmandu

Early morning, we visit Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha Narayan (Sleeping Vishnu). Afternoon, we visit Swayambhunath Temple (Monkey Temple).

Day 3 : KTM To Kodari (The Boarder Town) then Continue To Nyalam (3750 M.)

From Kathmandu, we make early morning departure for Kodari (border town of Nepal). At Kodari, we should go through the custom & immigration formalities. After completion the formality, we cross the friendship bridge. In China side we drive to Zhangmu (2225 m.) where once again we should complete Chinese immigration and custom formalities and will proceed for Nyalam (3750 m.).
Day 4 : Nyalam

Free Day in Nyalam for Acclimatization.
Day 5 : Drive, Nyalam To Saga (4460 M.)

Today, we should drive for an approximately 250 km to reach Saga (4600 m.). Saga is a small-growing town situated at the Bank of River Brahmaputra. While driving to Saga, we will be passing through the Thong-La Pass (5200 m.) which is a highlight of today. You can see the magnificialt view of the Himalayan Range including Mt. Shisapangma, the highest mountain in Tibet. After Thong-La Pass, we take a left turn and follow the route that leads to Shisapangma Base Camp but after a check post we leave this route and head out to Lake Peikutso. Nyalam to Saga: Seven hours (250 km).
Day 6 : Paryang

Drive, Saga To Paryang.
Day 7 : Drive, Lake Manasarovar

Drive of about 280km to Mansarovar Camp (15400ft) at the shore of Mansarovar. Paryang to Lake Mansarovar: 7 hours (280 km).

Morning Pooja, holy bath at Mansarovar. After lunch, Mansarovar Parikrama by Land Cruiser. Short Drive to Dharchen (Base camp of Kailash) 15600ft.Lake Mansarovar Parikrama: 72 km (3 hours). Lake Mansarovar (Chiu Gompa) to Darchen: 2 hours (53 km).

Day 9 : Drive To Yama Dwar & Start Parikrama To Deraphuk Gomba (4920 M.)

Early Morning (after breakfast), we take a 45 minutes ride on Jeep to Tarboche (Yam Dwar), the parikrama starting point. This is the easily accessible point from where you can see the closest view of Mt. Kailash. Today, we walk near about 6 hours +. The trail is reasonably easy and flat. We camp at Dehraphuk (4880 m.). Those who are not able to go for parikram will be back to Lake Mansarovar where they will be staying for another two days and waiting for the Parikram group. In this period, we provide accommodation in Camp. Darchen to Yama Dwar: 8 km (45 minutes drive) Serson to Deraphuk Gompa: 10 km (5 hours walk).
- Meals & Drinks Breakfast
Day 10 : Continue Parikrama To Zutulphuk (4760 M.)

The group undertaking the Parikrama will further trek to Zutulphuk (16000ft) via Dolmala pass (5600 m.). The passengers who are not taking Parikram will have rest in Lake Mansarovar. Deraphuk Gomba to Zutrulphuk Gompa: 9 hours (22 km) High pass on the way (Dolama-La): 5600 m.
Day 11 : End Parikrama near Darchen and Drive Back To Lake Mansarovar (Hora Qui) and Drive Back To Paryang

After a short trek, we will reach near Darchen from where we will be picked up by Land Cruiser and drive to Lake Mansarovar to join the group. Zutulphuk to the ending point: 13 km (3 hours)Ending point to Lake Manasarovar (hora Qui): 25 km (2 hours) and we set off our journey back to Paryang. Lake Manasarovar to Paryang: 6 hours (250 km).
Day 12 : Return Journey To Saga

Return journey to Saga. Paryang to Saga: 6 hours (255 km).
Day 13 : Return Journey To Nyalam

Return journey to Nyalam OR ZhangMu. Saga to Nyalam: 7 hours (250 km).
Day 14 : Kodari To Kathmandu

Drive to the boarder then continue your journey to Kathmandu. Nyalam to Kodari by Jeep: Two hours (33 km) Kodari to Kathmandu by private Bus: Four & half hours (123 km).
Day 15 : Departure

Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.

Other Terms & Conditions :Booking conditions laid below are for the Tour / Yatra accomplishment intents, unless you understanding and acknowledge to sign in conformation booking in particular cannot be processed, we request for your conformations in accordance.
Tour being accepted on the condition that you travel with the group at all time. Free travelling on your own is not permitted in Tibet.
It is the pilgrim's / Client's responsibility to keenly follow disciplines eloquently with group etiquettes during the entire travel which involves sharing courtesies, hiking and camping while in the high altitudes of mountains and hostile environment, it also suggests utmost care of being respectful to escorting, caring staff since they work in hardship and braving hostile conditions for your cause and comforts. We even request for your courtesies towards local people & their customs since they belong to remote areas most of the time they live in wilderness of mountains unlike our urban behavior and pursuit they are ethnic Nomads.
Pilgrims / Clients are responsible for complying with all the official formalities and requisites sought by the Nepaese and Chinese Government laws while these Govt. enforcement authorities en-route can check and anyone found carrying unlawful drugs, political propaganda pamphlets or fire – arm etc. will immediately excluded from the tour and be responsible for his/her own cause and consequence for being legally reprimanded / repatriation etc. at their own costs and risks involved.
Pilgrims/ Clients must care while subscribing for this Pilgrimage/ Tour that they in a fit health and exercising regimen, we suggest for them to get absolute check-up and appropriate medical opinion before embarking for this adventure some pilgrimage tour.
Ordinarily what is not expected we even notify, God forbid, lest there be any eventuality we suggest for our pilgrims / Clients to take appropriate insurance cover for the emergency reasons arising medical expenses, rescue requisites, which may involve even the airlifting costs of chartering the Helicopter etc.
Extras (All that is not in the 'Package Tour Fix Provisions' is termed as 'Extras' ) required by the individual or the group participants / Pilgrim's / Client's will be their own responsibility to settle directly or request for our mediation however we as a group organizer can only assist in getting those 'Extras' required by the individual or the group participants owning no responsibility or the arising liability for such “Extra – Costs: / expenses occurring. For participating in Pilgrimage / Tours, as you acknowledge this document please reassure yourself that there is an element of risk in every adventure, sports or outdoor activities, and this particular Pilgrimage / Tour has such elements of risk and dangers inherent in trekking and overland travel through hazardous or difficult terrains. All the specified unspecified fears of these inherent risks of injuries, illness, death, are the potent threats in such terrains caused by the force of nature and risk of human error / accidents. You signing / acknowledging this document is your conformation of your total understanding that we the organizers, its Directors, agents and employees act only as the specific booking & reservation assignees for particular transportation companies, hotels and suppliers providing all the travel, tourism, adventure related goods and services what your Pilgrimage / Tour requisites I Package would require you squarely discharge us for being liable / responsible for all Extras out of package provisions whether it is any illness, personal injury or death, loss and damage of property, delay and additional expenses due to act of God, terrorism, Govt. restrictions or regulations, detentions, annoyance, quarantine, strikes, theft, disruption of advertised schedule, civil disturbances or change in transits or hotel services your assignment for us the organizers is being accepted as you honorably having understood to discharge Shree Manimahesh Travels their director, agents, employees and all other members from all the responsibilities / liabilities emerging as Extras (other than package tour/pilgrimage contents) therefore all contemplated actions, claims or demand for damages that may result from your participation in this tour will be at your costs and risks.
Price and Refunds:
Your tour consists of two different countries i. e. Nepal and Tibet, hence price are calculated separately for each country in our package cost.
In case you or the group are compelled to reduce your stay in Tibet for whatsoever reason, in such circumstances any extra stay / transport or any requisite what is EXTRA ( other than package tour / pilgrimage contents) in any country will be charged / payable by the individual / group availing such Extras. No refunds will be given for unused portion of stay / change of transport / rooms, meals, transportation and other arrangements.
The tour leader has to right to exercise dropping the particular member(s) out of tour if they are found to be any threat for themselves or the group participants or other grave
reason, such drop-outs will be without any obligation to refund / adjust or acknowledge any liability whatsoever. However making such drop-outs responsible / liable for 'Extras'
resultant extra payments (if so emerge) action of the Tour Manager will be ultimate and binding.
Cancellation Policy:
If the booking is cancelled 30 Days prior to departure, INR 25,000 would be charged as cancellation amount.
If the booking is cancelled 20 Days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost will be into cancellation process.Thereafter non refundable.
All notice of cancellation must be sent to our office in written.
Verbal cancellations will not be entertained.
Rescheduling for the subsequent yatras due to undue circumstances before 20 days can be considered as the postponement and there will be only 10% of the deduction
Balance of the amount will be adjusted in the tour component.
Booking Requisites:
Booking would be acknowledged upon receipt of the following:
Booking form in original (duly filled, signed and stamped)
Booking amount including non-refundable deposit.
Two passport size photographs.
Six months valid passport in original from the date of return.
Note:Booking need to be done 60 days in advance along with a NON REFUNDABLE booking amount of INR 25,000 with your passport information. Balance amounts to be paid.
45 days in advance before the trip begins.
