Holy Mount Kailash, (6,740m) high peak is situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier, completely within Tibet. It is the perfect mountain with splendid beauty, with 4 great faces. It is the spiritual center for all AUM religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion and the pre-Buddhist animistic religion - Bonpo. For the Hindus Mount Kailash is the earthly manifestation of Mt. Meru, their spiritual centre of the universe, described as a fantastic 'world pillar' 84,000 miles high, around which all else revolves, its roots in the lowest hell and its summit kissing the heaven. On the top live their most revered God, Shiva, and his consort Parvati. For the Jains (an Indian religious group), Kailash is the site where their first diviner achieved enlightenment.
Spread out on the Tibetan plateau beside Holey Mount Kailash is the giant lake of shifting colors - Lake Mansarovar. Brahma, the creator, had a mind (‘Man’) for the creation of a Lake (Sarovar in Sanskrit), hence its name. A pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and a bath in the Mansarovar is believed to bring about salvation (Moksha) and washed away all the sins of lifetimes. Over the centuries pilgrims have constantly journeyed immense distances to achieve enlightenment or cleanse themselves of sin, braving enormous distances, particularly harsh weather and bandit attacks. People have been visiting Kailash - Mansarovar for centuries. It used to be very hard journey in the past.
Kailash Manasarovar Yatra by Helicopter; is an important program for those have very short time and like completing this Yatra however easily. This journey start from Kathmandu to Nepalganj and Simikot by scheduled flight and from Simikot to Hilsa by chartered Helicopter Service. From Hilsa; picked up by deluxe coach and transfer to Border Town of Tibet Taklakot and proceeds to Manasarovar and Kailash Parikrama. This is one of the easiest route to complete the sacred journey of Kailash ManasarovarAll beverages during trip and in Kathmandu, Nepalgunj and Simikot.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathmandu (1337m)

  Welcome -Receive from Kathmandu international airport.
  Evening program briefing.
  Duffel bag packing.

  • Meals & Drinks Welcome drink and Dinner.
• Day 2 : Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (168m)

  Morning visit Shri Pashupatinath Temple.
  After lunch, transfer to domestic airport.
  Fly about 55 minutes to Nepalgunj.
  Arrival transfer and check in to the hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks Welcome drink and Dinner.
• Day 3 : Nepalgunj to Simikot (2,910 m)/ Hilsa ( 3700m)

  Early morning transfer to Nepalgunj domestic airport.
  Fly about 50 minutes to Simikot.
  Further fly 20 Minutes to Hilsa by Helicopter.
  Arrival, transfer to hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner & Tea/Coffee.
• Day 4 : Hilsa (3700m) to Purang (3800m)

  After breakfast, Cross over the Karnali River to Sher .
  Embark Nepal and enter Tibet.
  Drive about an hour to Purang.

• Day 5 : Purang

  Day free for acclimatization.
  Explore Purang city and market.

  • Meals & Drinks Brekfast, Lunch, Dinner & Tea/Coffee.
• Day 6 : Purang to Mansarovar (4580m)

  Drive about one and half hour to Lake Manasarovar.
  On the way visit/darshana of Ravan Lake.
  Start Manasarovar Parikrama (Kora) (circumambulation).
  On the way Perform holy Dip & Pooja.
  Reach Chiu Gompa for overnight stay.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Purang, Lucnh & Evening hot Dinner.
• Day 7 : Mansarovar to Driaphuk (4890m)

  After breakfast, drive to Yamdwar.
  First day trek of Kailash Parikrama (Kora).
  Walk approx. 13 km within 6 to 7 hours.
  One can ride Personal horse/Pony.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea and breakfast at Mansarovar, packed Lunch with fruits and chocolates. Dinner with hot soup and energy drink.
• Day 10 : Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk (4790m)

  Journey starts early in the morning as possible.
  Trek to Dolma-La (5,670m) above sea level.
  Divine views of Ganeshkund and Gaurikund during the Parikrama.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Driaphuk, packed Lunch with fruits, chocolates and cookies while trekking. Dinner with hot soup and energy drink.
• Day 11 : Zuthulphuk / Hilsa to Simikot

  Trek about 3 hours to end the Parikrama at Mani Wall .
  Drive to Hilsa via Purang.
  Airlift to Simikot by helicopter and Overnight stay.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Zhuthulphuk, Lunch at Darchen or Purang & Evening hot Dinner.
