Holy Mount Kailash is one of the most popular ultimate Hindu pilgrimage sites in Himalayan region dedicated to Lord Shiva where every devotee wants to visit this sacred place once in their’s life time.
Mt. Kailash, (6,740m) high peak is situated to the north of the Himalayan barrier, completely within Tibet. It is the perfect mountain with splendid beauty, with 4 great faces. It is the spiritual center for all AUM religions: Buddhism, Hinduism, the Jain religion and the pre-Buddhist animistic religion - Bonpo. For the Hindus Mount Kailash is the earthly manifestation of Mt. Meru, their spiritual centre of the universe, described as a fantastic 'world pillar' 84,000 miles high, around which all else revolves, its roots in the lowest hell and its summit kissing the heaven. On the top live their most revered God, Shiva, and his consort Parvati. For the Jains (an Indian religious group), Kailash is the site where their first diviner achieved enlightenment.
Spread out on the Tibetan plateau beside Mount Kailash is the giant lake of shifting colors - Lake Mansarovar. Brahma, the creator, had a mind (‘Man’) for the creation of a Lake (Sarovar in Sanskrit), hence its name. A pilgrimage to Mount Kailash and a bath in the Mansarovar is believed to bring about salvation (Moksha) and washed away all the sins of lifetimes. Over the centuries pilgrims have constantly journeyed immense distances to achieve enlightenment or cleanse themselves of sin, braving enormous distances, particularly harsh weather and bandit attacks. People have been visiting Kailash - Mansarovar for centuries. It used to be very hard journey in the past.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Kathmandu(1337m)

  Welcome -Receive from Kathmandu international airport.
  Transfer to hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks Welcome drink and Dinner.
• Day 2 : Kathmandu

  Kathmandu Sightseeing including Shri Pashupatinath Temple.
  Evening program briefing.
  Duffel bag packing.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
• Day 3 : Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (2720m)- 6 hours drive.

  After breakfast drive 5 to 7 hours to Syabrubesi by private vehicle.
  Day is free for rest

  • Meals & Drinks Lunch , Dinner
• Day 4 : Syabrubesito Kerong (3000m)

  After breakfast drive Rasuwagadi abouut an hours(Nepal – China Border).
  Nepal Embark and enter to Tibet.
  Further drive 1 hours for 24km to Kerong.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfastat at Syabrubesi hotel,Lunch and Dinner at Kerong prepered by Nepalies staffs (start own Kitchen).
• Day 5 : Kerung

  Full day free at Kerong.
  Trek around hill for acclimatization.
  Kerung city excursion.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea, breakfast, lunch afternoon Tea/Coffee, Evening Dinner
• Day 6 : Kerong to Dongba (4500m)

  Drive about 7 hours
  Overnight stay.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Kerong, hotcase packed Lucnh on the way & Evening Dinner at Camp.
• Day 7 : Dongba to Mansarovar (4580m)

  Drive about 6 hours to Mansarovar
  Start Lake Mansarovar Parikrama (Kora)
  On the way Perform holy Dip &Pooja.
  On the way visit/darshana Ravan Lake.
  Reach Chiu Gompa for overnight stay.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Dongba, hotcase packed Lucnh & Evening hot Dinner at Camp.
• Day 8 : Mansarovar to Darchen (4700m)

  Morning free for spiritual activities.
  Lunch at Mansarovar.
  Drive about one hourto Darchen.
  If Permit visit Astapad (Astaparvat)

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast and lunch at Mansarovar, dinner at Darchen
• Day 9 : Darchen to Driaphuk (4890m)

  After breakfast, drive about 20minutesto Yamdwar.
  The first day of Kailash Parikrama.
  Walk approx. 13 km within 6 - 7 hours.
  One can ride Personal horse/Pony.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea and breakfast at Darchen, packed Lucnh with fruits and chocolates, Dinner at Driaphuk Camp with hot soup and energy drink.
• Day 10 : Driaphuk to Zuthulphuk (4790m)

  Journey starts as early in the morning as possible.
  Trek to Pass Dolma-La (5,670m) above sea level.
  Divine views of Ganeshkund and Gaurikund during the Parikrama.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea & breakfast at Driaphuk, packed Lunch with fruits, chocolates and cookies while trekking & Evening hot Dinner at Camp.
• Day 11 : Zuthulphuk to Dongba

  Trek about 3 hours to end the Parikrama at Mani Wall.
  Drive to Dongba via Paryang.
  Overnight stay at Dongba.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast at Zuthulphuk, hotcase packed Lucnh on the way & Evening Dinner at Camp.
• Day 12 : Donga to Kerong

  Drive about 7 hours.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea and breakfast at Dongba, hotecase packed luch on the way and dinner at Kerong.
• Day 13 : Kerong to Kathmandu

  Drive about an hour to Rasuwagadi Border.
  Embark Tibet and enter Nepal
  Further drive to Kathmand by Privet Vechile.
  Check in to the hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks Bed tea and light breakfast at Kerong, Lunch at Syabrubesi and Dinner at hotel.
• Day 14 : Departure

  After breakfast we transfer you to airport by tourist coach.
