Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Kathmandu Airport (KTM) ( 1300 Metre)

  Attraction - Kathmandu Airport & Hotel:
  Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport ( Airport Code- KTM) . Meet with our Representative, Drive to Hotel In Kathmandu of 3 Star or Similar Category. In the Evening Small Briefing about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Dinner and Overnight Stay in Kathmandu.

• Day 2 : Kathmandu - Half Day Sightseeing- Kodari ( 115 Km- 4-5 Hrs travelling and 4-5 Hours Sightseein

  Attraction - Pashupati Nath Temple, Buddh Neelkanth Narayan Temple ( Sleeping Lord Vishnu),
  
  After Breakfast, we will Proceed for the Half day Sightseeing of Pashupati Nath Temple, Buddh Neelkanth Narayan Temple ( you can see in the Pic above), Therafter will Proceed to Kodari , Kodari is a border crossing on the Nepal-China border 115 km away from Kathmandu. It s located in Sindhupalchok District in the Bagmati Zone of Nepal. Overnight Stay In Guest House/ Lodge on Sharing Basis.

• Day 3 : Kodari - Friendship Bridge- Zhangmu- Nyalam ( 35 Km- 2 Hrs, 3750 M )

  After Breakfast, Proceed for Further Journey, At Kodari we will go through the Process of Custom and Immigration Formalities. After Formalities we will cross Friendship Bridge by Your Own. Now you are in Tibet ( Autonomous Region of China) Here you will be greeted by our Tibetan guide and driver, then you will drive up through the zigzag road to Zhangmu, it is the first Tibetan town at the border, from there you can see the river which acts as border line between adjoined neighbouring countries. Here again we will go through the Process of Custom and Immigration by Chinese Authority. After formalities Proceed to Nyalam ( 3750 Metre). Arrival at Nyalam. Check in into Guest House/Lodge. Rest of the Day will have Acclimatization.

• Day 4 : Nyalam - Saga ( 250 Km- 2 Hrs, 4600 M )

  After Breakfast, we will proceed for Saga , which is on altitude of 4600 Metre , 250 km away from Nayalam. On the way we can see Tong La pass (5150 Metre) , Peiku Tso lake ( 4591 Metre). Peiku Tso is a beautiful alpine lake located near Shishapangma ( Highest Mountain range in Tibet ), and the 14th highest mountain in the world. After arrival at Saga ( 4600 M) , check in into Guest House/ Lodge on Sharing Basis.

• Day 5 : Saga - Paryang ( 250 Km- 6 Hrs, 4700 M )

  After Breakfast, we will proceed for Paryang , which is on altitude of 4700 Metre , 255 km away from Saga, journey duration is approx 6 to 7 hrs . Paryang is known as the world’s highest town. It is the last village on the way to Mt. Kailash. The Paryang is a special town on the grassland featured with west style. There vast grasslands surrounding the small town. Yaks and sheep wander on the green grasslands between snow-capped mountains, making a poetic and picturesque sight. Check in into Guest House/ Lodge on Sharing Basis

• Day 6 : Paryang - Lake Mansarovar ( 250 Km- 6 Hrs, 4590 M )

  After Breakfast, we will proceed for Holy Mansarovar Lake via Hor Chu ,Manasarovar lake is on altitude of 4590 Metre , approx 250 km away from Paryang, journey duration is approx 6 -7 hrs . Paryang is known as the world’s highest town. It is the last village on the way to Mt. Kailash. The Holy lake is relatively round in shape with the circumference of 88 kilometres on the Kora path (circumambulation path) and 320 square kilometers in total where the deepest point is 90 meter in the center part. Historically, the lake became holy in Tibetan society because mother of Lord Buddha took by gods to take a bath in the lake until all the sins washed away and purified the body totally, where she saw a white elephant running around the holy mountain (Kailash) as a significant that Buddha was in her worm.. Pilgrims walking around the holy lake takes four-five days to make up one full circumambulation, the reason for that they prefer to wash out all the sins and have some good fortunes in their life.
  As per Hindu scriptures, Lake Manas Sarovar is a personification of purity, and one who drinks water from the lake will go to the Abode of Lord Shiva after death. He is believed to be cleansed of all his/her sins committed over even a hundred lifetimes.

• Day 7 : Lake Mansarovar - Darchen ( 88 Km Parikrama of lake and 20 km Driving to Darchen - 5 Hr

  Today wake up early in the Morning, will have Holy Bath in the lake and will Perfom worship of our Lord’s. There after will take Parikrama of lake Mansarovar , which is approx 88 kms and after parikrama will proceed for Darchen , which is situated right in front of the sacred mountain, Mount Kailash. Its altitude is 4610 metres and is the starting point and Ending Point for pilgrimages in the region. It is approx 2 hours Journey from lake Mansarovar ( Chui Gompa) , approx 20 km from lake. Overnight stay in Guest House / Lodges/ Tents on Sharing basis.

• Day 8 : Darchen - Tarboche (Yam Dwar)- Deraphuk Gomba (18 Km- 7 Hrs, 5200 M)

  After Breakfast, Drive to Yam Dwar From Darchen , approx 10 km , Yam Dwar is Last point by Vehicle, At Darchen Public Security Bureau (PSB) officers are stationed from spring until October, and where pilgrims must get their travel permit stamped, and buy a "ticket" ( not Included in package) if they wish to circumambulate Mt. Kailash. Yam Dwar is Point where you can start Trekking For Mount Kailash The path around Mount Kailash is 52 km long.. Pilgrims of several religions believe that circumambulating Mount Kailash on foot is a holy ritual that will bring good fortune. Past the Tarboche (Flagpole/ Yamdwar) to cross the Drolma pass (5,500 m), and encamping for two nights en route. First, near the meadow of Dirapuk gompa, some 2 to 3 km before the pass and second, after crossing the pass and going downhill as far as possible (viewing Gauri Kund in the distance). Trekking from Yamdwar to Deraphuk is 8 km .Overnight stay in Tent on Sharing basis in Deraphuk.

• Day 9 : Deraphuk Gomba - Zuthul Phuk Gomba (22 Km- 10 Hrs, 4750 M)

  After Breakfast, Again will Trek for Zuthul phuk which is located at lower altitude than Deraphuk so it is like that first we will have to trek upwards till Dro la ma Pass( 5500 M), which is approx 2-3 km from Dera phuk Gomba and from there will trek downwards till Zuthulphuk ( 4760 M) which is approx 20 km from Dro la Ma Pass. viewing Gauri Kund in the distanc. Trekking from Deraphuk to Zuthulphuk is approx 20 km. .Overnight stay in Tent on Sharing basis in Zuthulphuk.

• Day 10 : Zuthul Phuk Gomba - Darchen- Zhongba ( 350 Km- 10 Hrs, 4650 M)

  Attraction - Rakshas Tall ( Poisonous lake), Zhongba
  
  After Breakfast, Again will start Trek for Darchen . Today is our last day for Trekking. Trekking Route is approx 12 km long, takes approx 5 hours , arrive at darchen ,which is our starting point for Mt kailash trekking, Catch the Bus, Drive to Zhongba via lake Mansarovar, on the way See Rakshas Tall ( poisonous Lake ) near to Mansarovar lake. Arrive at Zhongba.Overnight stay in Guest House/Lodges on Sharing basis in Zhongba

• Day 11 : Zhongba - Nyalam ( 325 Km- 6 Hrs, 3750 M )

  Attraction - Snow covered mountain peaks and the typical plateau scenery and landscape.
  
  After Breakfast, we will proceed for Nyalam, Arrive at Nyalam, . Check in into Guesthouse / Lodge on Sharing Basis. Overnight stay.

• Day 12 : Nyalam - Kathmandu ( 150 Km- 6-7 Hrs, 1350 M )

  Attraction - Friendship Bridge, Kodari
  
  After Breakfast, we will proceed for Kathmandu, after crossing Friendship bridge near zhangmu by our ow. Arrive at Kathmandu. Check in into Hotel. Overnight stay on Double Sharing.
