Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Transfer to Kalimpong

  Transfer to Kalimpong hotel from Bagdogra Airport. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 2 : Gangtok

  After breakfast transfer to Gangtok. En route visit Deolo Hill, Dr. Grahams Homes, Mangal Dham, Kali Mandir, Tagore House, Pine View Nursery. Evening free for Visit M G Marg. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 3 : Gangtok local siteseeing

  After breakfast proceed for Gangtok local siteseeing including Rumtek Monastery, Chaorden Stupa , Shanty View Point, Tashi View point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show emporium, Institute of Tibetology, Handicraft centre, Ropeway- drop only. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 4 : Tsomgo Lake

  After breakfast full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial (New Temple) OR Namchi & Temi Tea Garden (Outer View). Evening free for Leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

• Day 5 : Darjeeling

  After breakfast transfer to Darjeeling. Evening free to visit M G Marg. Overnight at Darjeeling.

• Day 6 : Tiger Hill

  Early morning visit Tiger hill to see the wonderful sunrise and its magnificent reflection in the Mt. Kangchendzonga. Then visit Ghoom monastery, Batasia loop and back to the hotel. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Zoological park, Peace Pagoda, Japanese Temple, Ava Art Gallery, Tenzing Rock and Outer View of a Tea Estate. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 7 : Mrik Lake

  After breakfast proceed for Mirik to visit Mrik Lake, Pashupati Market(At direct payment basis) and Nepal Border. Back to hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight at Darjeeling.

• Day 8 : Departure

  After breakfast departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport.

RULES FOR VISIT TO TSOMGO LAKE & NEW BABA MANDIR

The permit for Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir is issued on the day of visit within 08.00 AM. Sometimes due to tourist rush the issuance of permit might take little time. If the permit is not issued due to weather problems as well as military restrictions, then alternate trip to Namchi & Temi Tea Garden will be offered. However, if the journey starts but is interrupted by some problem & sufficient time is there in hand, and then the following points will be covered.

RULES FOR VISIT TO NATHULA

Nathula visit is subject to road condition. Only limited permits are issued for which necessary papers are required 48 hour prior to the schedule tour. It is suggested on direct payment basis. Nathu-la remains open for the visitors on Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sundays
 

Nathula is NOT ADVISABLE for guest having problem with blood pressure, knee & heart. Since Nathula is a restricted area, any time army can seal for security reasons. In such case tour will only be till Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir and no refund will be allowed for unutilized services.
 

Extra charges for Nathula will be Approx Rs.4000/- to Rs. 5500/- per vehicle. Payment direct to the transporter. But we need the soft copy of following documents at least 72 hours before the journey.
-Id card original & photo copy
-Passport size photo

Please note:

• Rates valid for Indian Nationals.
• Rate is non-commission able and net payable to us
• Rooms / Vehicle are subject to availability & are not on hold
• Cancellation charges as applicable
• Extra Person / Child with Bed (CWB) sharing the room on mattress.
• Lifts are not available in these areas & guest should be prepared to climb a few stairs.
• The vehicle used will be exclusive for that group but will not be at disposal.
• Management is at liberty to make changes or omit any place of visit, if it becomes necessary due to bad weather, bad road, strike or bandh, security reason etc.
• Kindly inform us if the guests are senior citizens or have health related issues (like arthritis, heart problems etc.) or any such matter which might need special arrangements. Some itineraries will not be suitable for them and we will suggest accordingly.
• There will be no refund of any unutilized service in part or in full what so ever may be the reason.
• Additional cost arising due to mishaps, political unrest, natural calamities like - landslides, road blockage, etc. will have to be paid on the spot by the guest directly
• Cost for any increase in taxes or fuel price, leading to change in package cost, which may come into effect prior to departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

• Within 3 weeks from the date of journey - Cancellation Charge will be 50 % of the package cost.


• Within 15 days from the date of journey - Cancellation Charge will be 75 % of the package cost.


• Within 10 Days & Less from the date of journey - Full Cancellation or No Refund.

MONUMENT INFORMATION

• HMI and Zoo remain closed on Thursdays at Darjeeling.
• Gangtok local city tour should not be undertaken on Sundays & National Holidays as they remain closed.
• Please carry valid photo Id proof (Voters card/ Driving License) & 02 copies of passport size photo to go to Tsomgo Lake.
