Season : June to August
The trek starts from Gangotri and takes you through the Gangotri Glacier to Nandanvan, the base of the Bhagirathi peaks, a place that offers an unparallel view of the Shivling peak. The trail moves along the Chaturangi Glacier to Vasukital. With towering peaks all around the lake, its surface shimmers like a pearl and is the source of the Vasuki Ganga that drains into the Mandakini. As we proceed to cross the Kalindikhal pass we experience many majestic setting of snow peaks in Gharwal Himalayas Mt. Kamet, Mt. Satopant, Vasuki Parbat…& many others. After crossing Kalindi-khal, the trail then descends to Arwatal and to Mana the last village on the Chinese frontier. The trek fittingly ends at Badrinath with a visit to the holy temple.

• Day 1 : Rishikesh

  Journey to Rishikesh.

• Day 2 : Gangotri

  Drive to Gangotri (3140m).

• Day 3 : Gangotri

  Acclimatization in Gangotri.

• Day 4 : Trek Gangotri to Chidbasa

  Trek Gangotri to Chidbasa (3792m).

• Day 5 : Trek Chidbasa to Gaumukh

  Trek Chidbasa to Gaumukh (4100m).

• Day 6 : Gaumukh - Tapovan - Gaumukh

  Rest day at Gaumukh-Tapovan-Gaumukh.

• Day 7 : Trek Gaumukh

  Trek Gaumukh to Nandavan (4500m).

• Day 8 : Trek Nandavan to Vasukital

  Trek Nandavan to Vasukital (4868m).

• Day 9 : Vasukital

  Rest day at Vasukital.

• Day 10 : Vasukhital to KhadaPatthar

  Vasukhital to KhadaPatthar (5456m).

• Day 11 : KhadaPatthar

  Trek KhadaPatthar to Sweta glacier (5500m).

• Day 12 : Kalindikhal

  Trek Sweta glacier to Kalindikhal Base.

• Day 13 : Kalindi pass to Rajparav

  Trek base to Kalindi pass to Rajparav (4910m).

• Day 14 : Rajparav to Arwatal

  Rajparav to Arwatal (3910m).

• Day 15 : Arwatal to Gastoli

  Arwatal to Gastoli.

• Day 16 : Gastoli to Badrinath

  Gastoli to Badrinath (3100m).

• Day 17 : Rishikesh

  Drive back to Rishikesh.

• Day 18 : Departure

  Take the train or flight to Delhi from Dehradun.
