Day 1 : Mumbai - Mysore
Arrive in Mumbai and straight away travel to Mysore, the first destination in the Karnataka ancient tour. On arrival in the city, check into the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Mysore
For the next 2 days, that is on day 2 and day 3 you will specifically travel in and around the enchanting destination, Mysore. Known as the home to the classic Vrindavan Gardens, Mysore also houses the famous Mysore Palace, the home to the royal family of the city. The Vrindavan Gardens with its bubbling fountains and the elaborate Mysore Palace; nothing could jump start your Karnataka tour as interestingly as these places will.
Day 3 : Mysore
Embark on short excursions from Mysore on the 3rd day to Srirangapatna and Somnathpur. While the former is known as the summer capital of Tipu Sultan, the latter is known for its exotic temples. The foremost one to name here is the Kesava temple.
Day 4 : Mysore - Chikmagalur

Day 5 : Mysore - Chikmagalur

Travel around this city for the next two days and stay overnight in the hotel that has been pre- arranged for you.
Day 10 : Badami
Explore through the length and breadth of Badami on the tenth day of the Karnataka ancient tour. Once a capital of the Chalukya kingdom, Badami is still visited for housing rock cut temples and the Badami Fort. The old Goa area is rich in its cultural heritage. Some of the most visited tourist attractions in the city arte housed here. The most remarkable ones to name here include the Basilica of Bom Jesus, the Church of St. Francis of Asisisi, and the Church of S. Caetano.
The rest of the attractions that you can visit while here include the beaches - the Calangute beach, the Baga beach, and the Palolem beach.
