12 Days/11 Nights

Day 01: Arrival at Varanasi
Arrive at Varanasi and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon proceed on a half day temple tour of Varanasi visiting Bharat Mata (Mother India) Mandir, Durga, Tulsi Manas, Sankat Mochan Temple and the new Vishwanath Temple. Followed by Ganga Aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat and overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Varanasi
In morning after Breakfast half day city tour of Sarnath, 10 km from Varanasi, where the Buddha preached his first sermon in the Deer Park, contains the most impressive remains, as well as a modem temple. The Dharmarajika, Chaukhandi and Dhamek stupas are outstanding. There are also the remains of a monastery, and the beautifully polished Lion Capital of Ashoka. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 03: Varanasi - Bodhgaya
Morning proceed for Bodhgaya which is about 247 kms / 6-7 hrs drive. Bodhgaya is the place where Gautama Buddha attained unsurpassed, supreme Enlightenment. On arrival check into hotel and the rest of the day is free. You can leave for attending evening prayer at Mahabodhi temple. Later, return to the hotel and have a comfortable stay at night.

Day 04: Bodhgaya
Bodhgaya is counted one among the four most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites. After having your breakfast, leave for a sightseeing trip around this beautiful place. Explore the beauty of Buddhist culture and lifestyle with a stroll around this place. Visit places like the Great Buddha Statue, Niranjana River and Sujata Temple. Sightseeing of Maha Bodhi Temple and Bodhi Tree. Visit the Chinese Temple. Also visit the school of the destitute. After your sightseeing tour, return to the hotel and stay overnight

Day 05: Bodhgaya - Rajgir - Nalanda - Patna
Morning leave Bodhgaya for Patna (182 kms - 6 hrs) enroute visiting Rajgir and Nalanda. Rajgir is a site of great sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Rajgir is an important Buddhist pilgrimage site since the Buddha spent 12 years here and the first Buddhist council after the Buddha was hosted here at the Saptaparni caves. Afternoon visit Gridhakuta Hill, Bimbisara jail. Drive to Nalanda which is 14 kms drive and it was one of the oldest Universities of the World and International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Drive to Patna which is 90 kms, on arrival at Patna transfer to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Patna- Vaishali - Kushinagar
Morning proceeds to Kushinagar (approx. 256 kms and 07 hrs drive) enroute visiting Vaishali - place where Buddha announced the approaching of his Mahaparinirvana. After that continue drive to Kushinagar (place where Lord Buddha had left the world behind him after offering an invaluable contribution to humanity, the great religion known as Buddhism). On arrival Kushinagar, transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of Lord Buddha). Overnight stay at Kushinagar hotel.

Day 07: Kushinagar - Lumbini (170 kms / 5 Hrs)
After breakfast, you will drive to Lumbini (170 kms / 5 Hrs) - the birthplace of Buddha and is located just a few kilometers inside Nepal. Sightseeing tour of Lumbini and on arrival transfer to hotel and overnight stay.

Day 08: Lumbini - Chitwan: (191 Kms /4.5 Hours)
After breakfast, you will drive to Chitwan Sauraha. After you reach in Chitwan, you will have some time for refreshment in hotel & you will have lunch. Then you will enjoy half day by doing acivities like: canyoning, elephant riding, jungle safari, Elephant breeding, etc depending on your interest. You will be transferred to hotel and at night time, you will enjoy the Local Tharu Cultural Dance. O/N stay at hotel.

Day 09: Chitwan - Pokhra (163 Kms / 3.5 hrs)
After breakfast, you will drive to Pokhra. Full day Pokhara Sightseeing. In beautiful Pokhara valley (Includes Devi’s fall: It is very dangerous place with some mystery; Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave: It is very interesting with lots of mystery; Seti river gorge, Vindhiyavasini temple, etc) Evening at leisure. O/N at hotel.

Day 10: Pokhra – Kathmandu (203 Kms / 4.5 hrs)
Morning drive to Kathmandu On arrival check-in at Hotel at Kathmandu. Afternoon visit Boudhnath Stupa, one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal directions keeping watch for righteous behaviour and human prosperity. Later, onto Bhadgaon better known as Bhaktapur meaning the city of devotees, this place is the home of medieval art and architecture. This place was founded in the 9th century and is shaped like a conch shell. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 11: Kathmandu
Morning half day visit Patan also known as Lalitpur, was one of the major Buddhist cities of Asia. It is the city of fine arts enclosed within four stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. Also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp and the Handicraft centre, where you will witness the hand weaving of Tibetan carpets and moulding of metal statues.

Day 12: Kathmandu
Morning visit Kathmandu city known as Kantipur, the capital of the Kingdom of Nepal. Visit the temple of the Living Goddess who acknowledges the greetings of the devotees from the balcony of her temple residence, the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, the ancient place of the Nepalese Royalty and onto Swayambhunath a Buddhist stupa, said to be 2000 years old.
