Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Srinagar

  Meet upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe Houseboat. Late afternoon Shikara ride on DalLake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and Papier Machine making demonstration.Overnight stay in Deluxe Houseboat at Srinagar.

• Day 2 : Srinagar/Pahalgam

  After breakfast drive to Pahalgam (valley of shepherds). The distance of about 100 kms will be covered in about 3 hrs. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipora ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), see the beautiful countryside on the way and lot of rice fields. Drive through pine forests. Arrive Pahalgam transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.One can visit Chandanwari (snow bridges) or Aru on ponies.Overnight stay in Hotel at Pahalgam.

• Day 3 : Pahalgam/Srinagar

  After breakfast leave Pahalgam and drive to Srinagar at lunch time you will reach into the Hotel. Afternoon Visit to famous Mughal Gardens, Nishat(Garden of Pleasure), Shalimar ( Abode of Love) Mughal laid Out in the 16th century & these fall along the bank of Dal-Lake in the heart of Srinagar City & Shankaracharya Temple located on a hillock, thus providing panoramic view of entire City, along with famous Dal-Lake & River Jhelum, evening return back to Hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel at Srinagar.

• Day 4 : Srinagar - Kargil

  Morning after breakfast drive to Kargil via Sonamarg. Sonamarg - which is one of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. You may take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. On arrival drop at Hotel.Rest of the day at leisure.Overnight stay in Hotel at Kargil.
  

• Day 5 : Kargil - Leh

  After breakfast time free till departure. Later check-out and drive to Leh. On arrival in Leh check-in at the hotel. We recommend you completely relax for the rest of the day to enable yourselves to acclimatize to the rarefied air at the high altitude. Lunch & dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
  

• Day 6 : Leh Local

  A Complete day of visit to the monasteries (104 Kms) after breakfast drives to visit the SheyPalace, Thiksey, Hemis monasteries and StokPalaceMuseum. Return to Leh in the evening. Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
  

• Day 7 : Leh to Nubra Valley (120 Kms)

  After Breakfast drive to NubraValley via Khardungla (Highest Motorable road in the World, 18,380 ft). Arrive at Deskit by Afternoon. Rest of the day one is free to explore Deskit, HunderVillages and camel Safari in Sand Dunes between Deskit and HunderVillage. Overnight stay inCamp/Tent at Nubra.
  

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 8 : Nubra Valley to Leh (120 Kms)

  After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Overnight stay in Hotel at Leh.
  

• Day 9 : Leh to Pangong Lake to Leh (320 Kms)

  After early Breakfast leave for PangongLake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. 1200 hrs. Arrive Pangong, it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India&China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Drive back to Leh by the same route. Overnight in Hotel at Leh.
  

• Day 10 : Departure

  Transfer to the airport and fly back to Delhi with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.
